So my ladies are fed only off of a good initial soil mixture and about a hundred super hungry worms! I use a living soil, no till, organic. Everything is fed organically and powered by mother nature! This is my first run like this, so.. hold on tight! It's gonna get crazy soon!
9/1/15 is the day flowering hours begin around here... I have under a month!
You probably wont get super yeilds but as organic growers we dont expect large yeilds.but the quality will be something special.plus the worms wil airate your soil.
The initial soil consists of RECYCLED Roots Organic Original, Worm Castings (just to kick off the soil), Peruvian and Indonesian bat guano, Happy Frog 5-5-5 All purpose, Mycorrhizae, Fish Bone Meal, Kelp Meal, Bio Thrive, Feather Bone Meal. I've been recycling my soil for a few rounds now and it keeps getting better and better each time. I don't do ANYTHING other than cut a new hole in the top of the soil where the old huge stalk was, top dress with the above then plant the younger plant where the old one was. I don't even take the soil out of the container. Hence, no till. The worms love to eat the old decaying roots, this keeps the process moving along nicely.
It gets a very very very strong tea of Composted Steer Manure, Worm Castings, Molasses, and a touch of the 5-5-5 Happy frog, bubbled for 36 hours then top fed during a watering. This happens two or three times during flowering.
The strains we have going right now in this greenhouse are: Gooey Purple Elephant x Larry OG
Sugar Black Rose 1 and 2 (two phenos)
Cotton Candy 1 and 2 (two phenos)
Sensi Star
It was mentioned above that you won't get ridiculous yields with this which is true, however I am expecting multiple lbs from this greenhouse. We'll see though! I'm just glad the hottest day is over here in CO :D (at least where I am)
