fox farm grow seems to always put my pH perfectly in the range for soil. seems to be 6.5 every time.
I think the problems on your leaves are probably lack of cal/mg. That is what mine look like when they need a little bit. Havent seen it in a while now that i use cal/mg every time. What kind of water are you using? RO? Tap can sometimes not have enough cal/mg in it either. Bottled water doesnt have it either. So basically, if you arent adding it, you should start really soon or be prepared to have some problems donw the line.
And dont focus on "how much you are going to yeild". Do it for fun and to learn. I bet you anything, by the time you are done with this you will have sooo many idea about how you can do better next time. It will be a lot easier for you when you have some expericence under you belt and you can try to outdo yourself next round. You should only be compeating with youself. Dont set the bar too high, especally when you dont know what to expect. You will be surprised that way.
