Well... I'm a soil grower and amend it to my soil, so I don't know how that would translate to your system. For foliar feeding, however, one tablespoon per gallon of water is the usual recommendation.How much epsom do you use if you’re workin’ on a deficiency?
There's a close relationship between Mg and light intensity because Mg is the core atom of the chlorophyll molecule. If a plant can't make enough chlorophyll due to insufficient Mg, we see similar leaf issues as we do with light stress. Consequently, reducing the light and adding Mg are both reasonable actions to take. The goal is to have the right amount of both for the life stage of the plant.
I had this happen for my current grow, so I sprinkled some Epsom salt on the soil and watered it in. Then I reduced the light slightly. The plants are under a ViparSpectra XS2000, which is a powerful light.
