I found this recipe here in another thread and have been trying to source materials.
Having a difficult time sourcing the nutri rich local.
I was wondering if this product would be an acceptable replacement for the
Nutri Rich High Cal Chicken poop found in this recipe.
I would probably bump the gypsum to make up the difference between the Sustane and Nutri Rich products. Maybe 5 extra lbs. I also would probably reduce the total cu ft of ferts because the sustane is a
little hotter.

6 bales Sunshine Natural & organic #4(3.8 cu. ft.)
6 cu. ft. Nutri Rich High Calcium Chicken Poop
4 cu. ft. Super soil earthworm castings
4 cu. ft. Pahroc perlite #4
20 lbs steamed bone meal
15 lbs kelp
15 lbs oyster shell
15 lbs dolomite lime
15 lbs gypsum

This is the product I found that is available locally

Suståne 4-6-4+Humates ORGANIC Suståne 4-6-4+Humates is all natural, slow release nitrogen plus natural phosphorous, potassium and all secondary and trace elements – high in organic content. Suståne 4-6-4+Humates is perfect for general soil preparation of landscape beds, shrub and tree establishment, incorporation into potting soils and overall soil building. The nitrogen release profile is 45-60 days. Suståne 4-6-4+Humates is composed of aerobically composted turkey litter, hydrolyzed feather meal, and sulfate of potash.

This is the info I found on Nutri Rich

Economical pellet form for agricultural applications. Derived from dried poultry waste. Can be easily applied with any conventional fertilizer spreader.
  • Guaranteed weed and dirt free.
  • 4N-3P-2K, also contains 7% calcium
  • Use 500-800 lb/acre or 8-12 lb/100 sq ft.
  • For trees and shrubs, use to .5 pound per foot of plant height or width. Water thoroughly after application.

It looks like it could indeed be a decent substitute.

Are we 100% that HL was referring to the nutri rich pellets/granular and if so which one, the 4-3-2 or the 8-2-4?
