Soil budCould be root bound, whats the pot material used here?
should be enough calcium magnesium in the Gaia Green, if he's adding enough, or staying on top of it, especially with a 3g pot.Reason I asked if you was using cali mg or a source of calcium is the water & the pic
Ro & distilled has no ca or mg & your plants are showing a ca deficiency obviously with the Epsom salts you were adding mg however probably to much
If you’re stuck with Ro/distilled water buy some calcium you definitely need it.
If your can use your tap water obviously use it albeit you still want some ca & normally mg as well
Either way get some calcium
Normally I world advise cali mg however you can overdo mg and as you’ve been using Epsom salts every watering it’s probably got a excess amount at this point
You’ve kinda made it hard on yourself adding lots of mg without any ca
The excess mg sorta locks out other nutes hence your burnt tips
The brown splotches are from lack of calcium
Sorry if I made it sound complicated it’s not.
looks a easy fix & it doesn’t look bad just not peak health atm
It probably didn’t show up so much earlier as your food probably has ca in it & it’s in flower the use more ca
Does RO (Reverse Osmosis) water need special nutrients? | Grow Weed Easy
by Nebula Haze "RO" or "Reverse Osmosis" water has been treated to make sure you're dealing with just water, without any other contaniments or minerals.www.growweedeasy.com
Can't get root bound in soil?Soil bud

Hitting and running on this one too.Soil bud
always good to get reputable second eye

One of your likes reminded me the ph was out at one point that could of effected how the nutes got taken upHitting and running on this one too.
If your mixing/filtering in a five gallon bucket a gallon of tap shouldn't hurt anything. 4 gallon of distilled/RO water with a gallon of tap. Sometimes do that myself. Gaia Green is at its best if there's something in the soil to break it down. It's not entirely water soluble. Maybe mix your soil with a gallon of compost next go around in them 3 gallon pots.I'm in a 3 gallon fabric .
Your right. I haven't been keeping up on the Gaia Greens feeding. As when I mixed the soil , I had over done it x3 . ( I've been facing issues throughout this run )
So with that said, and terrible pH, The plant is not doing too bad .
Thanks!, Definitely will add Cal and Mag needed. I found this one that includes minerals as well from TPS.
I plan on giving her a full dose of Gaia greens flower and CalMag . Switch from Distilled to R/O . What minerals should I add to R/O?
Using Distilled / RO because municipal water is not the best, combined with my plumbing ( I am guessing ) . The tap is reading 800 ppm . pH 8 . ( My sun plants use the hose and love it ! )
Can I ask do you count the weeks of flower after the stretch thenDo you mean the second week since changing the light schedule? Actual flowering begins a week or two after changing the light. Until then, the plants stretch, which is very much like vegetation as far as nutrients are concerned.
I see indications of Mg deficiency.
The RH is too low. That can cause necrotic leaf tips.
Gaia Green nutrients are organic. Usually, there's no need to use distilled water or to adjust the pH when using organic nutrients.
There typically no need to adjust the Ph of distilled water. Tap water usually has dissolved minerals that are beneficial for the plant. Problems with tap water are possible, but rare.
I doubt it. I suggest increasing the RH to 55% till the plants recover. It can be lowered gradually as the plant is further into flowering. I also suggest adding Mg. Epsom salt at 1 tablespoon per gallon of water works well for that. Correct the Mg deficiency before "fixing" other problems. Keep using it till a few weeks before harvest. Adding beneficial microbes might be helpful, too.
Exactly my thoughts. Compost and additional humic acid. I count the day I flip the light schedule .Can I ask do you count the weeks of flower after the stretch then
Yes, I use Gaia Green, it's all you need. The other stuff is useful if you get your soil tested. If you don't then your literally just guessing what to add. Just stick to the all purpose. Compost already has humic acid, so don't really need to add that, the addition of extra humic acid (besides what's in the compost) can add to nutrient burn.Exactly my thoughts. Compost and additional humic acid. Found someon BuildASoil's site . I had used some nice worm castings .
Do you use Gaia Green ? First time for me . I did not look at the ingredients prior to use , and should of definitely.
If I took the time and researched the product , I would have not added ( additional) Kelp meal, Fish bone meal, Gypsum, Alfalfa Meal , Azomite . After the initial 3TBS per gallon of the all purpose. Then did the same when transplanted to 3gal.
I made this soil tooo hot . Learned alot about micro nutrients, water and micro bio as well .
I count the day I flip the light schedule .
Awesome! What do you use for the soil ? At the moment I am using 2/3 Pro Mix HP and 1/3 castings . I do not believe they sell products in the states, unless amazon or a drop ship. So their living soil can be $$$Yes, I use Gaia Green, it's all you need. The other stuff is useful if you get your soil tested. If you don't then your literally just guessing what to add. Your soil mix is on point. Similar to Coots idea of soil mix. Recently did the same but with 1/3 compost on initial mix. Promix HP M. Was on Happy Frog but am enjoying the ProMix right now. No I don't use Cal Mag. Don't need it. Soil has plenty. And I use to brew teas but now just mix up powdered microbials once or twice a grow. Once that powder is used up I'm almost certain just applying healthy compost (every grow) will be enough to keep the soil happy.Awesome! What do you use for the soil ? Yeah, I was basically adding what ever sounded good in this soil .
Do you use a CalMag product? Or brew teas ?
That's what I had basically did, without knowing . Adding Coots recipe minus ingredients, on top of Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4 .Your soil mix is on point. Similar to Coots idea of soil mix. I use the Organics Alive if the plants need something immediately. Because the Gaia Green takes weeks to break down. The Compost looks killer, might have to try that one. Organics Alive has a very nice sampler kit for only $20. But staying on top of the dressings with the Gaia Green is key for a good steady grow. I can't vouch for an entire grow with the Organics Alive. I'm sure you can but I mostly rely on dry amendments and compost. The Organics Alive is great for a quick boost if and when you need it. Maybe someone here who exclusively uses it can chime in and give it a two thumbs up sans the top dressing. You could potentially run into problems if using both as the main inputs. Again I use it only if and when the plant needs a little extra boost. Which is usually around the flip and the mid flower. But staying on top of the dry amendments has me using less and less of the Organics Alive. It's kinda my emergency stash... At least that's how I use it.That's what I had basically did, without knowing . Adding Coots recipe minus ingredients, on top of Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4 .
I was looking into Organics Alive Dry Soluble Powders . As well as Oly Mountain Fish Compost. Looks like some great stuff.
That's what I've been noticing . Since I am in limited to 3-5 gallon pots , she definite needs a " boost " instead of a top feed ...I use the Organics Alive if the plants need something immediately.
