I just watered itIt's your medium. Looks like over fed seedling. Not much you can do. Your dirt is too hot for a seedling. Looks very wet too.

thank you for your reply.Let it dry and dont water with run off, such small plants in peat need approx 10-15ml of water for some time, dont use those domes for now, inside is higher temperature because of the pressure and that might hurt the plant. Also dont have condensated water inside domes walls, it works as magnifier and can burn plant and humidity is too high too, approx 90%+
youre suggesting that it is better to grow in coco?
- Could the custom soil mix I'm using be a factor in the slow growth and yellowing leaves?
Yes could be too strong, in coco weed grow faster and usually has no nutrients (easier control), plus I dont see that perlite there at all, maybe its not aerated well. Do u have drainage holes at bottom of those pots? Cover those transparent pots with something, its bad for roots to get light throught walls. The organic matter u v mentioned is compost, right?
- What might be causing the yellowing tips, and how can I address this issue?
Overwatering or overfertiled substrate already, it should be around 0,6-0,8EC, 300-400PPM. Your EC 5.5 is too low too, it should be in peat between 6-6.5 max. These different ammendments like manure, organic matter most probably changed the PH of initial peat substrate u ve used.
- Are there any specific nutrients or amendments I should consider adding to my soil to
All u need is more perlite, for now u dont need much nutrients as u ve used already prefertilized peat, manure, organic matter. What u ve already put there should have food for plant at least 2 weeks and even more perhaps cause roots still discover places in substrate, where still is unusued food.
how can i lower it?If I'm reading your post right and your ec is 1.8 that is way too high it should be around 0.8 for the stage your at, that will be causing the nute burn your seeing. If I'm reading your post wrong and it's not at 1.8 then I have no idea
Lower your nutrients budhow can i lower it?
i didnt use any nutrients just plain water with ph 6.5 approximatelyLower your nutrients bud
How are you getting an ec reading ?i didnt use any nutrients just plain water with ph 6.5 approximately
Too many use that dam potting soil for seedlings and damage young plants with hot soil. I keep pushing promix as an idiot proof medium. Water only for the first 3 weeks then a light feed with a water feed cycle. I find 3-4 days in solo cups between watering perfect. Over watering isn't giving too much water all at once, its giving water too often. In Coco it needs to be constantly wet with multiple watering per day. Its trickier to learn and noobs fk up it a lot thinking its the go to product.i didnt use any nutrients just plain water with ph 6.5 approximately
im not its what the soil bag had written on so it must have changed when i added perlite and compost for the water i have a testerHow are you getting an ec reading ?
the issue is that i do not have what you are suggesting where i live. So its all about what i mix my soil withToo many use that dam potting soil for seedlings and damage young plants with hot soil. Those that know how to grow in Coco can do very well but when your learning how to grow weed start with an easy to grow in medium, Promix, Sunshine Mix#4, Greenworlds VPW30 and others with a peat based product. Then after you've learned the easy way and can grow in what ever you are comfortable with. Its harder to learn algebra if you don't understand arithmetic.
i dont consider it being organic as i will use advanced nutrients.Another thing. Doing an organic grow. You must understand how things work. Your plant cannot eat worm castings or composted organic matter.
You need to add microbes so they can break your organic material down and produce food for your plat. I can tell you how to do that a little later.
Transplant to coco or grow right in coco with perlite for aerattion, use min 70:30 ratio but 50:50 is ok too. Pick coco based on EC, some have stronger u need for germination, seedlings. I d prefer coco without nutrients, in this case u r in control with those nutes u ve bought. If u want coco with nutes, dont go for higher than 0.8ec... this u ll need to feed approx a week since sprouting. If I'm reading your post right and your ec is 1.8 that is way too high it should be around 0.8 for the stage your at, that will be causing the nute burn your seeing.
