Hey everybody, I'm finally posting a grow online after over a decade of growing and learning about the amazing plant we all love. I'm super excited about moving into our first house we just moved into up in Maine and utilizing the awesome 1,150 sq ft unfinished basement we have. I currently have a 4'×4'×6.5' Vivosun Mother room setup and a 3'×2'×5' AC Infinity starter tent. I'm currently running two ViparSpectra 1200W lights in the Mother room and I have 6 Barrina 24W LED 2' strip lights in the starter tent.

My Mother room has two plants in it that were clones I've kept alive from the grow op I was working at last year. They were both cut 8/21. I have a cut of what certainly seems like the real deal to me of M.A.C. and Flintstones (F.P.O.G. × Sour Bubble).

M.A.C. on the left/Flintstones on the right

The starter tent currently has 12 seedlings of Colombian Miracle (Cap's Colombian × Miracle 15) from Capulator, 2 healthy clones of M.A.C., 2 not so healthy cuts of Flintstones, and 4 more healthy clones of Flintstones. The 12 seedlings and first 4 clones are in 0.5 gal plastic containers. I put a scoop of Coast of Maine Stonington Blend in the bottom of the containers and two scoops of their starter soil to fill up the containers. I've been spraying them daily with a 1 tsp/1 qt solution of Clonex and they've been getting fed as needed with a 6.0-6.7 pH'd solution of Hygrozyme @ 2.5 mL/L, Orca @ 1 mL/gal, and Clonex @ 10 mL/L. The seedlings all look healthy except one of them. This will be my first pheno hunt! I'm planning on cloning them, running the veg cycle, flower cycle, killing the males, flower the females, and I'l keep the best female in the mother room. Still not sure if I'l be keeping a male because I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to start breeding, but I certainly plan on getting to that point.

I'm looking forward to the journey! I got a 10'×10'×6.5' AC Infinity tent ordered, the 6" AC Infinity filtration system arrived today, and my HLG order shipped today. I got 4 350R's for the Veg room and an additional 100V2 for the starter tent. There's also 20 3 gal Rain Science bags on their way. I'm transplanting from 0.5 gal to 3 gal to 10 gal.

Day 7 with the two Flintsones clones in the back left and two M.A.C. clones in the back right. There's three of the Barrina 24W LED lights over the 12 seedlings and two over the 4 clones.

The 4 healthy Flintstones clones in my starter dome. I'm using the Root Riot cubes for the first time and liking them a lot. I had a Clone King aeroponics cloner that literally worked once and the pump failed on me when I tried to use it the second time so I'm going with plugs moving forward. I cut them with a pair of clean scissors and use a clean X-Acto knife to cut a 45° angled cut at the bottom and trim off all the leaves up to the top two nodes. I put them in water immediately after cutting them and then dipped them in Clonex rooting gel. I spray them twice a day with the 1 tsp/1 qt Clone solution. I soak the cubes with a solution of Hygrozyme @ 2.5 mL/L, Orca @ 1 mL/gal, and Clonex @ 5 mL/L.

I got my Veg lights yesterday and should have the tent by Friday. Planted a couple of my Flintstones clones into the 0.5 gal containers. Good structure and healthy roots on both of them, this was the better of the two.

A few pics of the M.A.C. plant I have a clone of from the grow op. I thought this was the best one we had while I was there. It was my favorite flower in the rotation.

Received my 100 sq ft tent and fans yesterday.

I also got the HLG 100 V2 set up over the Colombian Miracle seedlings and moved my Barrina 24W LED strip lights over the clones. There's 3 over the greenhouse for the clones and 3 over the clones once they get into the 0.5 gal containers. The PPFD meter on my phone (I need to get a meter) is reading between 450-600 for the HLG V2 and the Barrina LEDs are reading 200.

I also got 15 clones cut, everything is labeled. I topped all 12 Colombian Miracle seedlings at Day 17 and took 3 tops from my clones, 2 M.A.C. and 1 Flintstones.

I soaked the Root Riot cubes in a solution of Clonex @ 5 mL/L, Orca @ 0.5 mL/gal, Voodoo Juice 2 mL/L, Piranha @ 2 mL/L, and Tarantula @ 2 mL/L. I dipped the clones in that solution immediately after being cut and then dipped them in the Clonex rooting gel. They got sprayed last night with the 1 tsp/1 qt. of Clonex solution.

I fed the Colombian Miracle plants in the morning with a Grow Big @ 10 mL/gal, Voodoo Juice @ 2 mL/L, Piranha @ 2 mL/L, and Tarantula @ 2 mL/L, pH 6.3. I cut the clones at night. Everything looks really happy the day after!

I count the first 14 days in the initial container after the seeds are germinated as the seedling phase and then Day 15 is Week 1 Day 1 of the Veg Cycle.

That's awesome! We just bought our first house last year. I had been wanting to grow for years but didn't feel safe in the state I live in a rental house. The house we bought has an building out back with water and power. I've got a very small operation now, bc of the state I live in. But when my state moves into 2022 with the rest of the world, I want to go big. Gathering experience right now. I want an hlg light so bad. Good for you.

We got the 100 sq ft Veg room set up yesterday and two of the HLG 350R's.

I have 3 AC Infinity fans running in there right now at medium speed (5-7). The tent was at 74°/90% RH. I'l be ordering a dehumidifier, the local stores don't have what I'm looking for. I got the 12 Colombian Miracle seedlings transplanted into the Rain Science 3 gal bags as well as 2 of the M.A.C. clones and 1 Flintstones.

I used the Coast of Maine Stonington blend super soil for the first time last year and I was impressed with it. I used Fox Farm Ocean Forest exclusively for a long time and I think the Coast of Maine soil is better. I also like the idea of using a local product and it is OMRI certified. The one negative with the Stonington blend soil is that it retains too much moisture especially for indoor plants. So I'm trying something new again this year. I did a 50/50 mix of the Stonington Blend and Sunshine Advanced Mix #4 which is a mixture of 50% sphagnum peat moss, 30% perlite, and 20% coco coir with some other good additives. It's very light and fluffy, exactly the type of product I was looking to add to the Stonington blend soil. I'm excited to see how it works out. I filled up 10 gal bags of each of the soils and mixed them around in a 27 gal tote.

I rearranged the plants this morning and set the lights to 50% with the manual dimmer. They're 18" away from the canopy and everything is getting between 450-600 PPFD. We're at Day 21 of growth and at the end of Week 1 in the Veg cycle.

I transplanted another 3 of the Flintstones clones today. So there's 12 Colombian Miracle, 2 M.A.C., and 4 Flintstones in the Veg room.

I fed them 1000 mL each of a 6.0-6.2 pH solution of Grow Big @ 12 mL/gal, Orca @ 1 mL/gal, Voodoo Juice @ 2 mL/L, Piranha @ 2 mL/L, and Tarantula @ 2 mL/L.

Sprayed the plants yesterday with a 1 tbsp./1 qt. solution of Mammoth Canncontrol. I'm pretty sure I got thrips on the plants. The bags of soil were being stored outside. Easy access for bugs. I don't have a good picture of any bugs, but I did see some little worm like insects and they most likely are thrip larvae. The white spots on the leaves are an indicator of thrips.

And I moved my Flintstones mother plant into the Veg room. I cleaned up the lower branches, any big fan leaves blocking light to the lower branches got pulled, bent over as many branches as I could, and topped the branches in the middle that couldn't get bent over to create a more even canopy. All 4 of the HLG 350R's are set up and the light over the Flintstones plant is about 24" away and the entire canopy is getting between 600-800 ppfd. The two lights on the left over the rest of the plants I moved to 24" away and the plants are receiving 400-600 ppfd.

We're at day 14 of the Veg cycle for the 12 Colombian Miracle, 2 M.A.C., and 4 Flintstones plants.

I moved the M.A.C. Mother plant into the Veg room. I'm gonna flower both of the older Flintstones and M.A.C. plants in their 5 gal bags and keep one of each of the clones in their 3 gal bags as new Mother plants.

I fed the 18 plants in the 3 gal bags 1000 mL each of Azos at 1 tbsp./2.5 gal pH 5.8-6.2 on Thursday, 9/1. I think they had a nitrogen toxicity issue and ever since I fed them the Azos solution they seem to be much happier. I gave the Flintstones and M.A.C. plants 4 tbsp. of Mykos, added fresh soil on top, and watered it in with the 1 tbsp./2.5 gal solution of Azos.

Fed the 3 gal plants today. Everything got 2 tbsp of Mykos sprinkled on top of the soil and watered in with 1 tbsp/2.5 gal of Azos. I gave each plant 2000 mL. This will be the new M.A.C. Mother plant.

This will be the new Flintstones Mother plant. Check out that 9 petal leaf on it!

Through the first 15 days of the Veg cycle I think there's 3 plants that stick out amongst the rest for the Colombian Miracle phenohunt. There are plenty that look good, but I'm only looking to keep around the best female and potentially the best male.

So what I tried with the clones this last batch did not work and I decided to kill them today. Some of them rooted after 12 days, but overall they did not look happy. I think the mix of beneficial microbes was not compatible with each other. A prime example of too much of a good thing can be a bad thing, I think. I had the leftover solution in a 1 gal jug (Arnold Palmer Arizona iced tea jug) and it started to grow a green slime. The same green stuff was growing on top of the cubes. That can't be good. There were also some bugs that were living in the cubes too. That can't be good either.

So I started over today. I cleaned the greenhouse trays and took clones from one of the two bottom branches on each of the Colombian Miracle plants that would be getting lollipoped anyways. I'm a believer in Kyle Kushman's thought process to lollipopping. Any flower top that is not getting to the halfway point of the plant should get removed.

I made a solution of Clonex @ 1 tsp/qt pH 6.3 and soaked new Root Riot cubes that I bought today. Dipped the clones in Clonex rooting gel, misted them with the 5 mL/1 qt Clonex solution, and that's it this time. I haven't had issues with that method in the past. I'm planning on flowering the plants after 4 weeks of Veg so it would be nice if these plants would root for me.

Day 21 of Veg. I transplanted one of the Flintstones plants into a 10 gal Rain Science bag and I transplanted the other 2 Flintstones and 1 M.A.C. today. I trained and lollipoped all of the plants today. I fed the 12 Colombian Miracle plants yesterday with a 6.0 pH solution of Ancient Earth @ 2 mL/L, Kelp Me Kelp You @ 10 mL/gal, Grandma Enggy's F-1 @ 2.5 mL/gal, Hygrozyme @ 2 mL/L, Sensi Cal Mag Xtra @ 2 mL/L.
The 12 Colombian Miracle plants and the two Mother plants in the back.

The 10 gal plants

The old Flintstones and M.A.C. Mother plants. They don't look so great right now. I did give them 4 tbsp each of Stonington plant food mix and watered it in with the same solution I fed the 3 gal plants.

The Colombian Miracle plants lollipoped and I took off all the fan leaves except the top two nodes of each branch. Get better air flow, light penetration through the canopy, and the plants seem to like it. More energy is sent to the top growth where we want it and I get rid of the underneath growth that doesn't produce any significant flowers. I don't want to trim larf. I was skeptical at first when I saw major defoliations, but it works. Cannabis thrives on stress.

The Flintstones and M.A.C. plant.

Planning on flowering these plants after this week. They should be in great shape to flip the lights by next weekend!

Fed the 3 gal plants with a 6.3 pH solution of Ancient Earth @ 2 mL/L, B-52 @ 2 mL/L, Kelp Me Kelp You @ 10 mL/gal, Hygrozyme @ 2.5 mL/L, Grandma Enggy's F-1 @ 2.5 mL/L. Sprinkled 2 tbsp of Stonington Plant Food on top of the soil before watering.

These clones look happier than the last batch at the Day 7 mark. I think it was also a bit too hot in the tent with a bit too much light and that's why there's some leaf tip burn. I have only 2 of the Barrina 24W LED lights running now, I had 3.

I low stress trained and supercropped a couple more branches on the 10 gal plants. They are super flexible!
