As long as it was regular dolomite? I've never seen pellets but as long as it's regular dolomite that should stop the lockout

Says 100% organic dolomite lime for use in raising ph in gardens.
I trimmed most of the yellow off so now we'll see how it goes. I have at least 3 weeks left I think

I’m a dolomite evangelist like @Beachbumm, but I’ve never tried watering it. I normally front load Happy Frog soil mix with powdered dolomite. I don’t know how quickly you’ll see results.
EDIT: I might give them (or give them more) CaliMagic if they were mine. It may work faster. Does look like calcium deficiency to me.

Hey guys. Just wanted to update the thread. The lime seemed to do the trick. Top fed about 1 cup and worked into the soil then watered. After all said and done the end product wasn't too bad. Nothing spectacular but I'll take it.

Next time I think I'm going to try 1 15 gal pot in build a soil 3.0 with some dry amendments, worms, etc. Maybe good, maybe bad, but always learning.

Correcting ph will only do so much at this point, I think.

I never used fix farm at full strength, I saw those "rust" spots after applying beastie blooms.....I wrote it off as lock out caused by K.

It does seem easier as far as feeding it goes but it looks difficult making your own living soil. Getting the right mixture of ingredients and amounts seems subjective.

Find some- kings royal mix- soil is packed with all the good shit and has ph buffer. You can use it all the way through your grow without ever testing any of that. I have used it for my last 12 plants and it has been excellent for me

I use Coast of Maine soil right out of the bag with a dusting of diatomaceous in case there are any gnats. I always tell people that if I’m paying $40 for a bag of soil it damn well better work right out of the bag.

It’s easy. Buy build a soil 3.0 recipe.

Landscaping place near me sells the 50 liter bags (1.76 cuft) for $14 which is a fair price. You’ll see other dirt bags asking $40 for same size bags online. There’s a fair amount of decent soils and never worth chasing down specific brands at ridiculous prices.

I grow in living soil, a retail product called EB Stone Recipe 420 Bhang. I don't feed my girls any nutrients at all when they're vegging. The soil has all of the nutrients a cannabis plant needs for at least 3 months. When they start to flower I throw in some of the organic Recipe 420 Ultra Bloom into the soil and they get a little molasses with their water.

Knowing the soil is good, I only need to worry about light and water. The Sun provides my light, and through the winter months I supplement with light in the shed to keep them in veg. So that leaves the water... And while what's left should be the easiest, it isn't always so. Plants need the RIGHT amount of water, and things like pH, chlorine and minerals can fuck your entire grow up. If you're using municipal water for your grow, you might want to have it tested so that you know what you're working with. For instance, you might be surprised to discover there are more than ample amounts of calcium and magnesium coming from the tap. And I know it's probably overkill, but for the water going into my plants, I add a small amount of vinegar to bring the pH down to 6.8, and I fill my waterung cans at night so that the chlorine and chloramines dissipate overnight.
