I really do have brain cells I was kidding.. No dust mask is required for outdoor spraying, that is my added piece of paranoia gear.. The only time a dust mask is required is in very low ventilation and in dust form still. (Unless you breathe your foliage spray water by accident often?) Well even if you did do this, you would still wait to see if you even had symptoms.

Again this is the products in Eagle 20EW and the other known effective product combined.. Provok Clevis, I think I am the first to use on MJ.

No oxidate is not systemic like the eagle 20. People who use eagle 20 are missing some brain cells as far as I am concerned. Oxidate is safe to use up to day of harvest, OMRI listed, and does not leave behind any flavor and smell once it evaporates as far as I have ever been able to sell. Happyinmendo is correct - it is made of hydrogen-dioxide, and not photo-toxic.

It can be toxic if inhaled, and can cause eye damage, so you do want to wear a face mask and eye protection when applying it. If it gets on your skin it will cause to dry out and become irritated, turning it white. You cannot absorb enough through your skin to get to a toxic level as far as I know, but it can be uncomfortable if you get any on you. It is also toxic if you drink it.

It also bleaches through clothing pretty quickly when wet. Don't ask how I know.

Go with 1oz/gal. I did 2oz/gal in the hopes I'd knock it down better and it burned the living SHIT out of my plants. Thusly, there is apparently some photo/phytotoxicity when using OxiDate.

Pay attention to the advice to use good protective gear, the respirator is MOST IMPORTANT. You *will* do damage to yourself if you try to skip or skimp on that.

Compost tea

PM, spider mites, just about any problem, generally speaking can be solved by having healthy plants, foliage sprays, with the use of the compost teas will coat yourl plants with micro organisms that will naturally fight off and kill any such problems...brewing your on tea is helpful as is to know that it was a tested compost..this is the future in growing pure organic medicine, you use less fertilizers which saves money and you will get more of a yield. There are classes popping up all over northern California, anybody who plans on keeping up with the jones's better get to educating themselves..nobody wants B grade, half organic medicine any longer.......lastly, anybody ever hear of Rick Simpson, he figured out the formula to make the essential oil of cannabis and has been curing folks of cancer and is now living in exile in Europe out of a suitcase...talk about it being medicine!

You're choosing this as your first post on this website?

Not off to a good start, kiddo...

Organic growers NEVER get spider mites / pm / etc, right? Never happens. We chemmies have so much to learn!

Unfortunately for you, I have heard of Rick Simpson. Don't believe everything you hear. The man puts up an hour and a half documentary showing patients eating cannabis oil, then being cured of cancer. If I recall correctly, there was one single man at the end there who was declared completely cured... the rest expressed relief from symptoms.

The problems with this presentation are too numerous to even begin discussing in a forum format, but to give you and idea... the presentation is dismally unscientific. There is no data presented, no mention of other simultaneous treatments, no actual PROOF the cancer is eradicated, nothing. Just a man saying cannabis oil cures *insert long list of unsupported diseases*. I'm not trying to piss on anyones cornflakes, but honestly, you have to think about both sides of a story before making up your mind / mentioning these things. Taking a man's word on a claim that grandiose is nothing short of idiotic.

And one last thing... Is anyone else getting tired of this whole "it should be closer to nature" position that all these people seem to take when growing cannabis? Have you ever seen a plant grown unattended outdoors? It looks like absolute trash... and not just cannabis, ANY outdoor plant (this is, of course, from a cultivation point of view. There is much beauty in the inperfections of nature). Just go for a walk in the forest and find me one perfect bush... you won't. Nature is an arms race, not a symphony. We, as growers, are taking the best examples of success nature has to offer, and exploiting them to get better results. The environments we create indoors are *nothing* like mother nature. The Getting "back to nature", a mantra expressed all-too-much by cannabis growers I might add, is simply not what we're trying to do here.

Sorry for the rant, but this was just too ridiculous to ignore.

I use Ozone in my grow room to eliminate PM & bud rot.

might be bad for my plants but it I trust it 1000X more than that!

Ozone for existing infections or UV sterilization of incoming air (Which won't work for existing infections of course) seems a better option than chemicals.

Outdoors dunno, wouldn't grow outdoors.

If it really is H202 it's pretty harmless.

It's really H2O2 @ 27% + 2% PAA (paracetic acid). Once it's dried it's completely harmless.

Sorry I'm a year or two late to this party.
If I'm not mistaken, OxiDate is H2O3, so it's got a free radical oxygen molecule over Hydrogen Dioxide. (H2O2)
I've (successfully used it minutes before harvest with no problems whatsoever.)
Also, as has been pointed out, it's not the least bit phyto toxic.

As was already pointed out in this thread, Personal Protection Gear is a MUST when applying.

I believe there are two formulations, because I have one that's made from two peroxides, H202 and PAA (paracetic acid). And you're 100% correct, it can be used up to the moment of harvest.

It is a knockdown for pm. Strawberry growers use it with good success. However most use in conjunction with other systemics. It works well. There is no lasting protection though. 3-5 days and you will see it again. Not to mention the increased humidity as a result then potentially exacerbating the problems even more.
We used it for a hot min, 6months or so. Sulphur now. No more pm.

Peace

What's the PAA do? Could one simply use H2O2 at the same concentration sans PAA and achieve the same results?

PAA is another peroxide, food grade. I'm not sure why it was included in the mix other than the fact that it's a peroxide. There are other OxiDate formulations that are just H2O2, so I'm sure it would work just fine. :)

This is real old. Is there a current cure for Botrytis in clone mothers, not just something that knocks it back on surface????
