Good Morning,
.
I am currently battling powdery mildew as I can’t not get my temp and humidity to stay constant especially at night.
i am running AC infinity T6 with carbon filter for exhaust and AC infinity T4 for active inline in a 4x2x6 tent. I am in week 3 of veg and had a night where my humidity levels rose to 80% when lights went off, a couple of days later powdery mildew was identified. At first i thought it was because i used an epsom salt foliage spray to battle some mag defiency that i had (My CalMag was on back order) but the problem is developing leading me to believe i have been infested with powdery mildew already.

Does anyone use an ozone generator in there tent?
will it harm my plants if i give the tent a zap with the plants in them? (i am familiar with ozone and the risks it has health wise if not used properly)
Will it destroy my powdery mildew problem or are my plants toast?

Happy Holidays.

I haven’t used an ionizer but if I may make a suggestion, I found if I use Silica at the right amount I don’t see PM take hold on my plants. I use Silica Gold brand and I found it alleviated my problem. My landlord brings outside plants inside in the winter, and even though they are way down in the basement, I got PM for the first time in 30 years of growing. I was stumped how the hell I got it in my garden then I was doing laundry and noticed the jungle of big ass plants he brought inside. I couldn’t really bitch at him over this so I luckily found silica to be the key in prevention. I did lose several plants that were very late in flower so I was really pissed. Knock on wood seems to be under control. Sorry that may not help your current crop. You can mitigate the spread with milk, a Hydrogen Peroxide solution, or a citric acid concentrate like EPM. If your buds are really far along but the PM is only on some leaves, you may be able to get them to harvest and then do a bud wash. It works and your crop will be saved and the PM will be removed from the harvest.

Hi,it will kill mold depending on the models strength, one thing I have found when I used a generator is the aroma of the flowers diminishes and some people use one to avoid the odour in the house, and most home use generators are made to be safe for humans, ex: it's safe for your lungs,so if you have a lot of mold residential generators won't kill it all

Ran an ozone machine in my room and the plants closest to it developed leaf symptoms and them hermed within a couple days. I've run it before in short intervals without issue, maybe it was on too long this last time. I like to blast the room occasionally, not high concentrations, to keep dust and spores down.

I've used one before after making seeds to kill the pollen, so future seed crops wouldn't be contaminated

Ozone kills all living things. The plant will die if you manage to kill the spores.
