theres one plant that is under a hood and vertical light and..... i think it has light burn.. um, it's the one that is all yellow and toppling over from it's weight... must not be well anchored, arg. i'll have to put a green stick in er. best grow yet for me though mateys! 'I'm sailing!! I'm in a boat, and I'm sailing!! Ahoy!'

I have a few questions for you cheech... what about the blumats do you feel keep it from being on the commercial level? I mean all you need to do is run longer lines to hit each bucket set up right? what do you like and dislike about them. The only other person I have seen was sofakinghigh, but he wasnt really using them either.

a couple people on icmag are or were running them. lazyman is one. the only line you have to run is the black hose that connects the blumats. -v-v-. i ran the lines in veg, but never hooked up a rez, because it was so easy just to use a mag pump hooked to a hose.

i decided against the blumats because i can't get around my room.. i was worried that i would have to fiddle with them for a week before i had them working properly.

this new room that was just flipped to flower has the same plumbing as uctestin's trailer setup. very easy, and i already had the pumps.

but i'll run them soon enough and let you know how they work.

first week of flower.

15 serious seeds chronic in bricked coco, and one chocolate chunk mother in promix.

going to run h&g's full line this run.

i've got my fingers crossed for this run, because i will have to run ventilation in and out until about mid june, when i will feel comfortable putting my window ac up. yikes! warm weather here we come!

almost done.. i fed them with that grandmas unsulphured molasses. 2 feedings of that, and the next two before harvest will be water. not sure if any of that was necessary or if i should have fed like h&g recommends - with the 3 day flush, but either way i think this run did justice for the chocolate chunk.

in a couple of the pics you can see the buds of a few plants that are way behind. each of those plants root zone dried up at around 4-5 weeks in flower, which taught me a valuable lesson. i'll make sure my root zone never gets bone dry in flower again.

those plants are so behind and un chop worthy(my fault) to the extent that i might transfer them to my other flower room to let them go two weeks longer. anyone have experience with this?

thanks shady. aside from a lengthy malnourished veg with root aphids it went pretty easy. i'm just glad it is automated, because watering with the wand sucks.

crossouttheiis i just chopped about 12 tops off of the horizontal plants... that would be 9.5 weeks. hoped it would let the undergrowth girth up... i did see amber hues too.

either way i'm looking forward to chopping it down so i can move on to another round.. the sooner time moves forward the sooner i'll be running donk! which looked awesome in the seed run, haven't smoked it yet.

damn that is a long ass time. Something well I cant really afford to continually do. Have the bottoms been filling out better. I have only done that with outdoor crops before and it worked awesome. Should be some strong stuff

i've never really done this either.. i think it's called mono cropping? i trimmed up the bottoms a week into flower, but really the problem was buds lying on top of buds... i know what you mean though, i can't really let them go a week further, i need to get the veg plants in and restart the whole cycle.

hey you might have been referencing the 10 weeks of flower.. that is a long time.. but you know what, the longer i let it go, the better of reviews i seem to get from the consumers.. there seems to be a considerable difference in weight too. i have some buds harvested at 8.5 weeks, and they aren't as dense.

god damn i would love a 7 week strain though.... but yea if the yield goes up those last 2 weeks, then it probably doesn't justify harvesting early but getting an extra run in.

cut down one of my plants and finally got a chance to check the runoff ec and ph... fucking 4 ec, and 5.9 ph. LOL 4 ec. maybe drip clean isn't that effective? but i didn't do a single flush aside from 2 feedings of water and molasses and 1 of just water and drip clean in the final 10 days.

from now on i'll throw in a few flush's through flower of ph'ed water.

Day 15 of flower.

17 plants. I would need to get 7.5 oz per plant to harvest 2lb per 1000 watt light. I just don't see it happening. hmmm.. but 5.6 oz seems doable and I'm happy with that - 6 lb.

At the point where I'm looking for better genetics. Don't want to place seed orders anymore. If anyone wants to trade cuts/clones let me know.. Next generation grape god is good and so is Spice of Life Donk.

my last harvest was a bit larfy.. the buds that were under the horizontal reflectors looked great, but they turned to larf 6'' under the canopy.. i repositioned those super sun 2's in the pics above to 15'' above the canopy about.. they were at about 2'. i'll take photos at lights out.

Hey cheech! I finally went hunting for one of your threads. I think you just need to fine tune things a bit with the feeding and then you will get the numbers you want.

Whatever ferts you use here is a basic plan. You give them full strength veg formula during veg and then the first 2 weeks of 12/12 I give them full strength veg and a PK boost. Then the 3rd week I give them 1/2 veg and full strength flower mix. Then week 4 and 5 I use 1/4 veg and full strength flower. That usually keeps them green through week 5. Then I go flower ferts until the flush.

I have been using snow storm too and I think it helps trichs and makes the plants healthy because it helps them utilize nutrients better. They have been staying nicer throughout the grow. I start when pistils first appear.

Push your ferts more. Don't be afraid, keep them green and then back off after week 5.
