Started out with a mother in my tent, pulled a few clones and moved them all outdoors when the weather finally cooperated.
The mother has fared the worst, ive bounced back and forth with water issues and had some nutrient deficiency as well. Didnt include her in the pictures but probably only yield maybe 3oz. The clones have done better but have been hurt. These poor girls have had a tough time with the weather this year. Nearly a year's rainfall spring to summer then hot and I ended up hauling water out to them.

They have been stunted a few times and I'm worried about the flower finishing before we get frost. Hopefully the weather holds but I can only realistically count on maybe 2 1/2 - 3 weeks at best

Nearly October and thankfully still no frost! The 14 day weather outlook shows temps trending cooler, but nothing for frost

Flowers are growing and frosting up nicely. I might be able to salvage this after all.

I'm not sure what started chewing on this one but they need to knock it off. Would be a shame if I made it this far for it to get an involuntary chop

Frost Advisory

I chopped my other outdoor but these girls just aren't there yet. Have chances for frost twice in the 10 day but 70s otherwise. Not ready to throw in the towel yet.

If they don't find you handsome...

I'm guessing you live somewhere with a milder winter

My dad used to string X-Mas lights thru his fruit trees to ward off freeze to new buds early in the year when the temp would drop down to freezing. They didn't provide much heat, but enough to ward off killing freeze. I wonder if you couldn't do the same with your plants? Not to mention it would look cool.

Normally I would just turn on a sprinkler for marginal temperatures but I have these ladies in a clearing far away from power. I think it'll work down to about 20 degrees with the warm ground. Hopefully only another night or two of it this year though

Makes a guy start thinking about a greenhouse and a light dep tarp

I haven't had the scope out there in a few days but the pistils are still white, calyxs haven't swelled up either. It looks like I'll need to tent her again tonight, I'll bring the scope out and give her a look.

From a few days ago:
Lots of amber and cloudy here but as of this morning the flowers are looking immature

Made it through the frost and the forecast is calling for 70s at least a week. The plants are starting to swell up and pistils are starting to turn. Now it's just to watch the ladies finish up.

I brought the scope out. Looking at this I'm tempted to chop but the plants are swelling up and could potentially gain? I hate decisions like this

Ok I'm going to call it. The next two days are warm and sunny, then the temps drop and looks like they will stay there. Frost/freeze early next week. I'm going to chop Friday. Should work out well for my drying space staying at decent temperatures
These have really come a long way! Smells are 100% citrus, like you just squished an orange in your hand .
