14 Days in today, lots and lots of white hairs all over the place, stretch seems to be dialing down and whatever comes through gets tucked anyways. Im almost positive the tangie has to be 40” plus now. I decided to shave the legs now because I wanted to stunt their stretch a bit (hopefully), I’m not basing the decision off facts, just a gut feeling it would slow them down if I did. They’re about 12-14 inches from the lights now as I raised them with 185 LB zip ties, the straps wouldn’t go any higher.

Next project, White Gorilla. I’ll grow her in this solo cup for another couple weeks and strip the soil and plant in dwc. Done it a million times, it works...I do this every time I want a new strain, I hate rock wool cubes.

Haha hell yeah come see me in New England. Thanks for the acknowledgment man, I actually still have the stalk in the bucket from chop 2 weeks ago on the Jack and the tangie and even right now the stalks are double the size.

16 Days in, production is showing. Larry is behind, but she always is....I’ve kept the stretch under control and really haven’t had to snap anything or tie much down, they seem to be slowing and I’m also slowing my feed, I like to give it low doseage around week three and then I start to boost back up in week 4. I’ll take these to 850-900ppms but they’re settling in around 650-700 right now so i want to keep that steady. I feel like the plants reject nutes sometimes and really all that wasted nutes sits in there....like all, I like experimenting on every run I do, but at the same time keep the consistency, this is only my second CMH run, and so many more to come!

The ss315 watt cmh lights are my only lights now.. They're a Goldilocks light for me, the perfect size for a one plant, one light, waterfarm scrog... Here are my first two wf scrog grows using the SS315 watt lights...

Thanks! Hoping they will be, last harvest was well over an LB, but these girls are twice the size of that!

LOVE IT!

And you hang your temp/rh gauge at the proper spot as well. 5 thumbs up, if I had 3 more hands.

These cmh lights kill it, dont they? Well worth the investment

Week 3 update. Things have stopped stretching and bud formation is on speed dial....I can see the finish now, my estimate is damn well close to 2lbs., I’ll be disappointed otherways. Clones are three weeks in, I can already tell they’re going to fast.... oh yeah, check out the white gorilla in dwc (was in soil) already bounced back from transplant...Enjoy the weekend, to all you b-ball fans, go celtics!

I’ll stick along for the ride and watch this one. Apparently I’ve been stuck under a rock in the HPS world from what I keep hearing from everyone around these parts. I keep wanting to grab a 630 CMH to replace my 600w hps in the 4x4 and see how it goes.

Ayyyy, nothing wrong with an HPS! However I just run 2 315’s, I’d also be curious to see what a 630 does. Right now I’m averaging 10-12 zips per light per 3 plants

Nice so you’re definitely getting a good yield for the amount of wattage. I believe a 630 is just two 315’s in one hood? Not entirely certain to be honest.

I’m definitely happy with the quality and yield I get from my HPS so I’m in no hurry but it’s interesting to see so much more CMH talk lately. Aside from yield I’m hearing it’s main improved benefits are more flavor and trichome production.

Honestly I have nothing but good things to say about it, it definitely would be a better experiment on your end as I went from 4 300 watt mars hydros that I bloomed with to this. I was looking at old pics of my grows and man it is so incomparable its not even funny. For the longest time I thought it was the things I was doing as a grower as far as how much I yielded and fed. I switched to the CMH and it was life changing. Plants I used to only crop a zip off of, I'm hitting 3-4 plus. It's honestly a big mistake on my end because I used to have to grow 10 plants to get 10 to 12 zips. I was able to cut my plant count almost in half. Not only was I able to do that, I was able to keep almost the same exact wattage usage. The Mars put out 155 true watts, so that is 620 watts of power across 4 lights. I get the same wattage with 2 CMH 315's and expanded my yield to 300-400 percent more. Just can't see anyone going wrong with this.

In addition, the next set I'm going to purchase the bluer phillips light, if I'm not mistaken it is 4100k, and use it for the first two weeks to keep my stretch down. @DemonTrich has shown how he does this in his grows, and after watching these recent girls blow up, I had wished for just a bit more head room. I'll experiment that on my clones you see with the burple lights above.

About a week from transplant, she’s starting to take off(white gorilla). Almost damn near time to pop another Glueberry bean by Dutch passion. Missing the hell out of it, it has super super berry notes and the yeild is fantastic. I put her away for a year to try some new stuff out and she’s gonna find herself a nice home now. I decided to drop the em dog after this last run, yeild is great, quality is great but she is wayyyyyy to earthy to the point she tastes like dog shit and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I’m all about fruity ass flavors anyways, aren’t we all lol
