Aquaponic set-up coming soon in a couple months. Raising 5 RBP in an aquarium at the moment.
I'm aiming for in my AP system are healthy Fish. Number 1 priority feed fish high proteins (beef heart/krill) which become amino acid. Second Fish waste, Blood & Bone (Feeder Fish), P.H of 6.4 and etc.

Driftwood Aquascaping soon to keep my PH @ around 6.4 or lower. Add a few low lights plants in the reservoir.

Good news I cleaned 2 bags of clay and got them on the table.

Bad news Bathtub won't drain. Those damn broken off clay pebbles got they asses caught in the drain. Snake that shit tomorrow.

Easiest way I found to clean the clay, was at a car wash. Punch a ton of hole wit a nail or w.e in the bottom half of the bag and power wash the shit out of them.
Let drain and transport in a bag or tote for the excess run off.

Bad news cuttings never rooted... so I gave it an extra week and still no change, besides this little momma with a baby root so I tossed her in last week to change my cloner res.

and started up a new batch of babies in case history repeats it self.

Red Belly's in the last pic were about 1.5 to 2 inches.

Now they are 3.5 to 4 inches.

Change of plans on the AP system... It took 6 years to find Piranhas and I'm just not to sure about releasing them in my reservoir.

Plans are to siphon out the fish tank and pour it in the reservoir weekly.

My estimate they're weighing a little over an ounce.

If you have enough in the aquarium ( i had 14 in a 200 gal) your bound to have pairs in there..lol I used to bang on the glass when I saw them getting down and dirty .

Yeah at least 125 gallon or build something bigger and add that shit as a reservoir... GLASS!!! Watch them get down and dirty

Piranhas in CO state are illegal I believe $500 fine per f5ish. I have ordered from aquascapeonline couple years backand they know rbp are illegal and they won't ship to protect their rep. they would get in trouble more than I would most likely. Before like 6 yrs ago I would buy them from mikes killer fish shop on brighton blvd? until they were outlawed
These are not seeds being ship discreetly I believe they have a live stock label on the packing.

Inlet keeps a nice flow of aerobic water thru the media

Can't wait till sight of growth from something... Seems like I've been going through T & E with this flood and drain table... Dialing this shit into the maxium potential.

Those clones look pretty sad..did you take those yourself? what kind of clone solution are you using? What kind of environment is that table at?

Yeah I took those cutting myself... hormex cloning solution, root tech cloning gel and maxi grow nutrient a G.H brand... maxi grow bag was opened and it absorbed the moisture out of the air that's why I used flora gro on my previous clones and I didn't receive any roots, so I went back to the moisture absorbed Maxi Gro... Through 1 tbsp. and roots came... the moisture situation sucks but I will always use maxi gro... Table is looking goooooood... It was more of water coming out of the inlet and draining back into the outlet and not moving around... It created my ppm to go up and bacteria to form... A inlet and outlet should never be next to each other.

Water circulation is the best aqua aerobics... F&D table (4 ft x 4 ft x 3 inch)... 3 inch depth of hydroton minus 1 inch due to light and I have more of growing container which means root bound should never happen... The table has constant nonstop water, no timer and water depth of .75 of an inch, no bell siphon... Straight from cloner to the table, no rockwool cubes either... The only worry now are roots clogging outlet drains.

I would use Maxi Bloom at 1/4 tsp/gal for clones that stuff works great.

I know your right... The GH Maxi series is proficient in every aspect. I will use it on my next set of babies... Never really use bloom on clones potassium will make the roots grow, so I can see it working.

It's seems to be thriving especially the seedling with a nice root.

One thing I don't understand is the ppm keeps rising from 160 ppm to 363 ppm... I know low ppm 160 is straight tap out of the faucet... No nutrients or fish guano yet.
