Wow - am I glad I found this thread!! I've just started a new grow and have my lights currently set to the '12-1' cycle, after reading an article in 'Treating Yourself' magazine, issue #25, page 77. I'll try to link it below...(the TY site has free downloadable copies of their magazines on their website) I'm starting to have second thoughts after reading this and am thinking that I may need to start a control plant in a seperate tent to compare - the thing is, I have the one plant on the 12-1 cycle in a Waterfarm and don't have another Waterfarm to use so the control will need to be in soil.... Can anyone else comment on this - do you really think this will 'lower' yields compared to a regular 18/6 - 12/12 cycle??
Hey everyone looking a for a little insight here ...
I have 4 plants that are 18 days old and look healthy so far.
(side note this is my first grow)
I've been running 24 hrs of light but I've been considering going to 18/6 to give the plants a break ...also, I'd like to gauge night time temps and humidity fluctuations to better prepare for flowering.
My question is this ... will there be any complications going from 24/0 to 18/6 at this point inthe plants life ?
