Piña Colada and coconuts :)

Those are some nice quality pictures. Are you using a DSLR? If a camera, which one?

No worries. It's hard to annoy me and my balls are hard as walnuts
I can't really answer your question as I have no comparison, I flower like this for years, just few people I know do- most do sudden 12/12. Is 12/12 faster? Probably. Is there difference in weight? I have no idea. Is stretch slower? Probably
For me fact of giving more daylight to develop and lack of desperate stretch are important.
People have their own way of doing stuff
We don't have unfortunately two tents with same plants that we could check theories on. Maybe in the future

where did he go? the assistant

For some reason I thought this is a 1 thing experiment you were trying. If youve been growing like this for years and you like the results then I understand. If they do stretch less it could be useful, specially for people like me who only top and lollipop. I might need to try it next grow. Sometimes Im in a hurry because I have none left but now that I have 2 tents I dont think that will be a problem. Will still use Hemplex of course, youre from Ireland maybe you can get it too, everyone who has tried it is happy with the results and one of my friends even replaced clonex with hemplex for the clones so it does work. You can use it with any line you like except synthetic lines which you dont use anyway. I highly advice you to give it a try and if youre not happy you dont keep using it but I think you'll be happy. Specially with the foliar applications during veg. For flower I use Alfa Boost cause its cheaper and also has way more things than just hormones. Hemplex can get expensive if you use the watering dosage instead of the foliar dosage.
EDIT: Also I believe you when you said your balls are hard as steel, you need that to deal with basque country people hahaha. I say it with love ofc.

Midsummer approaching in Pineapple's Ville

I added fan to cool things down.
AC Infinity S6 took between canopy and light in various mode
and Big Berta is churning gently under
It's my favourite 5X5 fan couple.
Pig Weeds took additional 64W and 0,2 on VPD like a champ.
Lovely.

See you in few days.
I will allow them to climb freely on controller till Friday and I shall jump on coast trip.
Weather is finally better. Time for a swim in the Ocean
Then I have to do order with first grid and apply second one & friendly competition madness with tree growers and experimenting experts will start
There will be no time for a breather for a while in this crazy but rewarding hobby

Plusk

I was under the impression you were in Ireland! I didn’t think people swim in the north sea! At least not intentionally! Take it easy!

This is what I was thinking : ) @Sunin is there any “bleaching of the leaves” at this point? Would that even be apparent that soon after light power increase?

You are doing great! So are your plants, I can see they are loving it. When you flip to flower they expect more light, and ramping it up slowly is the way . When I was using HPS double-ended globes all I had to do was raise the light again (about 18-22inches until the back of my hand was cool) before flower, then ramp it all the way up to 750w IMMEDIATELY this would be a jump from a 450w MH globe and my plants had no problem with it. But these LEDs man, they aren't playing around! I can see why SO many people use them now instead of globes. I can also see why people like me get a little carried away with increasing light when we were so used to being able to up the wattage so quickly with globes.

Toasted Pineapples anyone?
Here you go, You jinx it
Me personally I don't like warm pineapple- for example on pizza- bleh, but maybe someone?
It seems that bunch dries back in 3 days now.
It's starting.
The gluttony of flowering untrimmed cannabis
Had to come back earlier from my retreat and rescue the bunch.
It got so bad overnight from the time my friend came to check on them that they started to reject few oldest fans and popcorn in under canopy area
that's fine
lollipop is coming in 2-3 days anyway
I used moment of them being Limp Flacid-er Bizkit to adjust first grid, lock it down to the pots and lst bigger heads to the frame of the grid bringing down canopy by bit
But it got really bad for a moment
I was watering on emergency.
Temp during last 2,5 days went up to 31-33C.
Fecking Bahamas.
And day of Sahara. AC Infinity had/have some maintenance
Some ends of higher climbers got burned slightly so after levelling up canopy and between sips of water (I fed half litre at the time) I raised light up to 26-24"
Better safe than sorry
Hardcore dry back. Toastie toastie Took hours, I just sat down and got stoned

25L of brew went in without almost any run off
PH - 6.7- 6.8 ish. Water standing in the yard for a fair bit
per 5L
Advanced Nutrients Tarantula 10ml
Advanced Nutrients Piranha 10ml
Advanced Nutrients Carboload 10ml
Advanced Nutrients Sensizym 10ml

microbes, fungi and food for them & just water
loads and loads of water
Slurp gulp
Let's hope all will be good and forgotten in the morning

Slapwel

There's swimmers here but it's rough
I much prefer Donostia San Sebastian in Spain if you're asking, yes

I don’t blame you! I go over to the Humboldt coast and stick my toe in the water and start longing for Huntington Beach! I guess that’s what they make wetsuits for!

When I was young in the mid-70s, I lived in Huntington Beach! I would grab my churchills and swim out way past the break! Using a rip, if one was available! I would float around out there on my back, like an amoeba floating in protoplasm! For about an hour! It was almost like one of those sensory deprivation tanks! But eventually, I would have to swim back in And try not to get run over by a surf Nazi! L O L They have surfing classes in high school down there! Lol

First grid is now secured, evened, locked fully and flattened.
Lettuce got final elastics, she's alright- I hanged her break to the grid so sisters will be holding her load

No matter how long you grow- if you love it - and you did serious jobs in the garden opening the tent morning after always have a little bit of nervous anticipation
Seems I did decent job (pat on the back)
Girls are pushing nicely and more or less even.
Dent by retarded one is filling up slowly, retarded one is still retarded, now I am just simply interested what she will bring being so weak and weird
Checked all the lollipoped trunks - looks good, few wounds but nothing serious
Lettuce shoot up so whatever I did with her mutilated limbs worked

Now I will introduce mid bloom feed with loads of potash with next water and I will change silicon for more expensive one that I keep for 3rd and 4th week of flower.

Today sun will be cut to 13h and we are entering last and most intensive week of stretch.
I would prefer them to build low, not too fat and very even of course but I know where I can put my wishes

Where's that 1000W?- she said greedy- it would help flatten heads on perimeters

If somebody could advise me and brainstorm with me if it would be better to install second grid stiff like the first one or just elastic net? or maybe none?
Second grid should come right about now, right? Because all the double SCROG tables that I see have second layer after around 30cm

If its only to support then why not, I would go for the elastic one since its less likely to damage tissue and you already did the SCROGing. I tried to SCROG on a second net once and it was the worst idea Ive ever had, second net SCROGed branches ended up on top of the first ones and I only diminished my yield but I think you mean just for support right?

It was probably you that almost hit OldChucky on the head with your board when he was peacefully swimming back from his treatment
