Ok I guess I can ditch the second set of CFLs then. She was doing fine with just 2 bulbs before I got carried away lol. I'll also set a small saucer of water next to her to help humidity. Humidity fluctuates wildly here from 50%+ during the day to 20% at night so hopefully a saucer of water will help make it a bit more consistant. That temperature in combination with that RH isn't so great, either, temps need to come down if possible, or bring RH up just a bit, 50%+ or so.
Noted. I have GH brand pH Down but no pH up, is there anything I can use instead of buying another $11 bottle of supplies?PH seems a little low to me, 6.0 is the best place to shoot for and if it floats a little back and forth from there your OK. If your using dropper style/pool test ph tester you lookin for what we call "High Life yellow" or about the same color as a Miller High Life Beer
Ya, I guess I was trying to push too much light in a small area. I'll go back to just 2 100W equiv. CFLs and a home-made LED panel for accent. The temp and humidity combo is suspect, and I wouldn't pour your nutrient solution from the res directly over your plants, less heat and more humidity.
Where do I want my PPMs at now, and do I gradually raise them as time goes on? My meters won't be arriving for about a week, but I can take a sample of my nute solution to the local hydro store and they will tell me the PPMs. They are very helpful since I bought all my stuff from them.PPM and nute concentration may also be an issue, to much food with a little ph lockout makes it tough on the little guys. When you get your meter and see what it is you can adjust accordingly but my guess is that it is way high.
2 6" airstones on a dual outlet 4.5LPM pump. Now the water level is right at the bottom of the netpot, last week had the water level halfway up the netpot. I see 3 roots starting to come out of the netpot now.Do you have a big airstone in your DWC bucket? what are the water levels in the bucket? does it touch the netpot, totally envelope the netpot, not touch the netpot at all, etc..

12. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything?
Have been pouring a little nutrient solution from the reservoir over the plant infrequently.
7-10 mL per gallon each? Sorry to be so newb at this, this is literally the first thing I've ever tried to grow. Never done a cactus, succulent, tomato, nothing 'till now. I'll add nutes up to about 7 mL/Gal for each of the 3 parts tonight. Thanks again for the continued support.I would bump your Grow/bloom/micro up to 7-10ml per gallon and leave the calmag right where it is at with about 5-7ml per gallon. At least your not to high which is good, it is easy to add and a bitch to take away..
Well, yes, I did indeed pour that over the plant with the lights on...i thought i saw the begining of a p.m. prob til i read back through and saw this
...
tried to quote myself saying I pour some nute solution from the res over the plant
...
this would be my guess as to your burning, especially if its done with the lights on
Wait, what? I need to put the FloraMicro in the solution FIRST???just in case you are unaware
you need to mix your micros into the water first
