What ppm where you flushing with? Sorry I missed that last post. If you flushed well and then fed you should see improvements in a few days tops.Absolutely,
when I stuck the traunch in it showed higher ec then fed.
We have flushed until PPM was within 10% of what I was flushing with.
We are feeding once every other day until there is runoff.
I'm gonna start tagging you everytime I see a coco grower. It almost seems like there are 1000x more coco questions than there are growers at the moment. I usually just hop in to get the convo started until one of you experienced coco growers pop in.... Not to many of you here in comparison to soil and other hydro idk maybe I'm just blind.Hi, I’m a coco grower. I think your issue resulted from not watering enough. Coco should never ever get dry. When it dries out, the nutrient salts concentrate on the coco fibers. Then when you water again, the solution reconstitutes those dried salts, which adds to the total EC of the medium. This will in short order push the EC of your root zone too high and cause a nutrient lockout. The flush was a good call. From this point on I would suggest watering those plants at least twice a day. I do 3x a day in veg and up to 6x a day in full flower. I think the hardest part of growing in coco is letting go of some soil practices like the fear of overwatering. Coco plants grow best with short watering intervals, until runoff, several times a day.

Hi you might want to put coco in your thread post also that will help tag those coco growers....Hello,
please let me know if any additional details are needed.
We are feeding once every other day until there is runoff.
Then show extreme signs of deficiency.
Feed was 1.8 EC PH 6.2 and full strengths jacks hydro 321 JR Peters.
Now is it 1.2 EC PH 6.4 jacks at 75% strength with Epsom.
Coco coir #2 from Oregon’s only.
Gavita’s at 80% 8-10 feet from the canopy.
We have turned half the lights off at this point because the team thinks we are burning our plants vegging them.
The plants in this photo are approximate 7-8 weeks of age.
Humidity and temperature charts attached.
Please ask as many questions as you would like I am happy to answer.
You can. It’s more effective by hand of course. But you have a lot of plants so if it was me, I would just run the new solution through the drippers a good while. Then begin the 4x a day fertigations.do you think we can flush via our drip system?
So our guys are flushing by hand today we tried via the emitter's didn't ever quite get to what we were feeding which makes me think I will have to adapt the irrigation to soak more of the coco with each water.Theses are my plants. They are on day 35 from flip. Three different strains in a 4x4 tent, 3gal fabric pots, 1.2 EC and fed 5x a day currently. I only show this to demonstrate the importance of good fertigation practice when growing in coco/perlite.
Spreading out a few drippers per pot will help get a more even saturation. I’m running four 2gph emitters per pot. I made my rings out of 1/8th inch spaghetti tubing and some T’s.So our guys are flushing by hand today we tried via the emitter's didn't ever quite get to what we were feeding which makes me think I will have to adapt the irrigation to soak more of the coco with each water.
We will be testing with equally saturated pots and measure the total water volume going into both and total runoff volume.
Do you think this is a possibility or I am looking too closely?
