You know I use to know this guy who was a real great mentor, always willing to help out and give people information they could understand, than one day he decided to change his name and become just like the Wizard of Oz, a very knowledgeable grower but a real ass, than no one bothered to ask him anything so all he could do was fly around and shit on people, not a very helpful person he turned into. It was a sad day for everyone.

RIP DS we miss you.

i think your being overly sensitive and loose with the facts..... That post simply adressed application rates and nothing more....

The only difference i see is that you disagree with something i have said....

If you pump the RH up to 60 upon transfer they do much much better. Problem with most rooms like these is you are running a lot of light and a lot of AC. That is pulling moisture from the air.

The plants aren't big enough to transpire enough moisture so there is no balance and the plants kind of shock out. I suggest all the things above, and raising RH with a good commercial humidifier. mainlandmart.com is a good spot to get one.

Do you think it would be better to reduce the amount of light so that we able to achieve 60% upon transfer and then add light as the plants get bigger?

This is unnecessary Woods. Lets keep it civil here. DS/Q9 is a valuable member of this site regardless of the handle. If he takes any time to answer questions at all, it's probably time he doesn't have to begin with. I know for a fact he has put in his fair share of helping this community, so let's leave it at that. Shit I remember when he was in a bad car accident and still was showing up to help the noobs with all their questions. In the meantime, you have grown as a farmer and now you are able to offer the help that he may not have the time for ATM.

If it's about helping people advance their game, I don't think any of us can really knock him.

I could not agree with more. DS/Q9 has been a tremendous help to us. He has spent literally hours talking with us and taking the time to ask and understand our system before answering our particular questions. He inspired us to upgrade from our diy to Current Culture making our lives a great deal easier and giving us so much more time to work with. Thank you for everything if I never heard from DS again (god forbid) I could still never thank him enough.

Great link Cap mainlandmart.com thanks

Yes he is a saint, come on people I was just pointing out his manners appear to have slipped. You don't need to haul out all the wonderful things he has done and beat me with it. We all know what he has contributed, to us all, remember I have been around here a while too.

Well I thought it was quite civil, but maybe not. I just think that his answers have become more cryptic and caustic than they use to be, but maybe I'm wrong.

Peace and love to all

Cap, Amber.... wow, thank you guys so much.... check this link please? id love to see you guys there.

Woodsman if my answers seem cryptic its usually because its an issue i have been over several times, and as has been fully explained; I try to make my answers now more philosophical in an effort guide learning rather then spoon feed it... also, time is so limited right now... And i am so often miss quoted (footnote skills would really help this site.)

Anyway your question is detailed extensively if you want to check out the CS filthy porn thread...

The short answer is yes, i am using 1/3-1/2 has much nutrient. Due to CS. CS contains no dyes, preservatives, or fillers, and so even at the low EC rates i am running, actually provides higher base profiles then alternative lines (and much better balanced as well). Most of those other lines are likewise reading up to 1/2 fillers (unusable or uptake-able) but which do however serve to clot the membrane of rhizosphere epidermis, and eventually lead to rot.

I also have to second that i feel u when u have answered the same question over and over and put it down in writing and u still have to answer it civilly can get a lil testy from time to time. Hey we are all human and can only put up with so much. Everyone has emotions and sometimes maybe they leak out on here instead of keeping it to ourselves right. But isnt this a community a family so what is famliy for. But hey CS is the truth i also think that using it at 1/2 strength has helped me keep everything stable longer and my plants seem to love it. I did most of my run last round at 1/2 strength and hauled in some of the most precious flowers i have every grown ever. But Hay we are all one big family and i guess thats part of being one. Peace

I see it's already been addressed but this was clearly, at least in part, a transpiration issue in my opinion.

Turn your room into a giant humidity dome when you're up-potting, regardless of the medium.

Once you start doing this, you won't go back.

Which humidifiers do you prefer? I'd like to be able to raise my RH to appx 50, as it's naturally around 30-35, but still want my dehumidifiers to be able to prevent PM.

I use to have this problem till i figured out what it was... The problem is I kept on trying to fix shit that wasnt broke in the first place lol... So I went back to the original game plan and took out a few things I felt did more harm then good and went for what I know and guess what... Problem no more!

I use r/o water and hg and a couple other products...

Problem 1- I was feeding them too hard from the jump. I knocked my dosage rate back to the clone dose (between 2-2.5ml of a&b per gal) for the whole veg phase that helped out like crazy they flew again after this...

Problem 2- I use to listen to people on the fourm and even the hg reps but I found out that what works for me is 5-7ml gal of calmag+ from botanicare... Yes I said 5-7ml depending on what phase of the grow your on obviously 7ml would be about weeks 3-5 of flower.

Problem 3- I used some products that were on the thick side like roots excel and amino treatment... Truth is the system does way better and runs way cleaner without the 2 so I stopped using them and that helped.

Problem 4- Dropping them into the water from a non chiller system to a chiller cooled uc tends to shock them I think... I learned to keep my chillers off for the first day or so of dropping the plants till they get use to the uc.

Problem 5- I wasnt using epsom salt for the longest... Epsom at 1 gram per gal on top of the cal mag completed the puzzle that shit works...

Problem 6- I was also using exel lg which is now organicide if you read about it you will see what its about... I was going full strength on that i cut it down to half for the veg period... That helped also.

The combination of these things has completely took out any stalling that was taking place... I get brand new growth the next day after transplant I been rolling 2 uc's like this for about a good year, same result every time. Thats my two cents.

What up QB!! I've missed your work around here. Always so fresh and so clean clean... I like everything you posted in here, especially about the switch from warmer to chilled water that imo would have a huge effect on the stall. I also have switched back to a simple basic stew, this system has enough steroids of its own naturally. Are you running your top off hot or straight ro these days?

I still run the top off hot until week 8 then I switch to h2o only. I agree about the system being enough I am starting to feel like most supplements out here are for the soil. I think the uc does better on a basic plan my last run came out the best ive ever seen it.

Ya i also found this a great thing to do. I did a run with Cs last run best run ever and i only used uc nutes by week 8 i was at only 500 ppms i think and they were straight fire. This round i am using a lil MOAB and it seems to have these girls running slower imo or my system is running too hot. Cut all back down and now things are running smoother and i do understand what u mean on the warmer temps. I actually ran my system with no chiller for a few days and had roots in no time
