Hi fellow growers. At the moment im growing "3 Chems 2.0" by Top Dawg Genetics(stardawg corey haim X ONYCD. Out of 11 seeds i got 3 females, 2 sativa leaning tall females and 1 short bushy nice looking momma. I have cloned them, i will add a picture of them. Please explain to me why they are so purple and why nodes dont grow in pairs. Is this something good/bad, related to genetics or something? Any experiences? I will add a pic of mature plants once the lights come on in the tent. Its a coco grow with canna nutes, rhizo and a+b for these kids at 0.8EC. Some silicone too. Thanks in advance ;)

The purple stems is probably deficiency.. Fix that before cloning again. Light green leaves and purple stems is probably phos and its probably due to ph. Alternating nodes wont matter.

I used to detect my early males by observing alternating branches. (I say used to because I now used feminised decent genetics. ) If I had'nt switched 12_12 and they started alternating It was a sign to me that it was likely a male. The others would'nt start alternatinv. Until I switched. If you reveg you will find branches will grow evenly again. This answer is from my own observations from 5 indoor grows under lights in a tent. Im always open to correction as I know there are far more knowledgable people on here.

Your plants look ok they are girls, as for the purple it's probably the strain, in fact the purple you are seeing is an illusion of light and shadow, I grow purple kush and the leaves are not purple they are almost black

Nope, tap water all day long and it works great. Been advised by a professional profit grower not to bother with RO water. I just fill up the bucket, add some liquid from aquarium shop to neutralise chlorum etc and add my rhizo, coco a+b, zym and boost. Calmag now and then

IDK mate, purple mumms, purple kids(clones) and both under different types of lights. I think its in the genetics because they are budding up pretty quickly(so i suppose they like what they "eat")

I will post a picture here every week just to show how they are doing. Apparently Top Dawg Genetics is THE shit, Stardawg, OG Kush, Nigerian Haze etc... Peeps are saying that there is a fire in every pack that comes from Top Dawg.
