I’ll give as much helpful info as possible and pic hopefuly somebody knows the answer here it’s driving me insane.
Semi sealed room Purged for 5min every hour
Co2 800-1000ppm
26-28lights on 19-21 lights off humidity 60-40%
gavita de set too 750-850w worked up slowly after flip
70/30 eco thrive charged coco perite
22l fabric pouches
Ec starts 1.7 in flower peaks around 2.2 then back to 1.6-1.8 week before flush then 10day flush
Ph 5.7-6.2 throughout gets drift throughout the week
ionic coco bloom from day1 12/12
Ionic calmag 1 to 1.5ml per l
H&g roots excellurator as directed
Bhuddahs tree pk and meta boost as directed
Strains affected are gg4 and skywalker og really struggling with these but they are 10/10 smoke so wont give up lol
There in a bottom fed alien system hand watered daily 7-10 days after flip until roots hit the bottom

if there’s anything I’ve missed please ask, there’s no bugs at all I’ve Checked under microscope a lot

what kills me is every now and then a crop comes out Near on perfect but most of them are getting this same problem around week 2/3 of 12/12 sometimes it goes away by week4/5 and do reasonably ok other times they limp to the finish line and get terrible yield with stil a decent quality

Things I’ve noticed is it starts with overall slight paleness, some distorting/twisted leaves with dark veins and petioles then the stems get purple striping stay very thin get abit woody, then it either gets abit better and finishes with 60-70% yield or the lower large fan leaves start dying rapidly and go crispy pretty much within a couple days

another thing is the plants grow no side branches at all when this problem is happening like I’ll train them in veg to have 3-5 heads and they just stay like it where there should be branches growing will stay as just small bud nodes. It’s definitely not genetic because I grown the gg for a long time and it’s just been acting this way on n off for about a year now

really appreciate it if anyone can point me in the right direction

You might be getting nute buildup from the solution wicking up and then drying, leaving the more concentrated nutes behind. Some plants are more sensitive than others. I would give a couple good flushes from the top and measure the water's PPM/EC and Ph coming out the bottom after running thru the medium. I think you are seeing the buildup of salts, which can make plants look thirsty all of the time. The soil also looks pretty dry on the top. I think a good flush or two will help to clean things out, but you are using a lot of different nutes, so I can't say how they might be interacting. I don't use many nutes at all compared to most but have been successful for quite a while.... it's always easier to add nutes than to try to remove them without the plant suffering.

Yeah I agree with what Jimster said week 2-3 of flower is notorious for nutrient related problems occurring. The plants needs change during the stretch somewhat and that can lead to quite a buildup by the end of stretch.
I'd recommend rising the pots out with an enzyme product or something like florakleen until your runoff comes out the same as its going in. I suspect it will come out high at first..

I’m not an expert but Jimster might be on to something. Seems like you are certainly providing everything a growing girl needs... she is just refusing to take it and is drawing nutrients from the leaves instead. Nutrient lockout is certainly a possibility to consider.

Thanks for the fast replies guys, I’ve measured run off numareous times usualy the ph is bang on around 6 with the ec usualy higher than I’m putting in however the pic I showed here is recent and the run off had slightly higher ec but a very low ph around 5.2 on average so I flushed with weak feed of 1.1ec ph 6.4 only put about 8l through each pot though and they’ve actualy got worse I can take a fresh pic tomoro. Really starting to question everything I know at this point and tempted to try organic soil as I’ve never had consistent results in coco. Is it safe to say it’s not environment related? The co2 I use is bottled used to think it was bad gases in the room hence the 5min hourly air dump now. If it is salt build up should I of seen an improvement within a week rather than it going downhill?

thanks so far really appreciate the help on this site

These plants have actualy perked up a fair bit since the flush and buds are forming well however it’s caused a lot of damage to the yield there nowhere near as big as the should be and I’m stil non the wiser to why I had to flush but it’s definitely helped them pick back up

Quick question, I'm not familiar with your newts and other products so I'm curious how the plants are getting nitrogen? And what is the NPK?

The ionic calmag is 3.8 0 0
Used at 1ml per l
Ionic coco bloom is 1.5 1.4 3.1
Buddhas tree flower burst used in the 1st 3 weeks is 0 10 8
The flower burst is used at 0.25ml per l
Not quite sure what that finished ratio works out at I got my formula from a well known member on another forum who does very well in coco (I too have had great results) and haven’t changed a thing which is why it’s so frustrating

Too early in the day for me to do the math but I'm not seeing much nitrogen? And imo your plants are showing nitrogen deficiency

So... I’m still battling this problem on and off at the moment I have a section of a room around week 5 or 6 that’s absolutely thriving and a section next to it on the start of week4 that’s just started to do the sulk that I’m used to I’m 99% sure that I’ve fed them identically I’ve kept the ec abit lower these runs starting flower at 1.4 and got it up to 1.6 just now week 3 flower.
I think you could be onto something beechwalker with the low N I’m going to experiment tomorrow with 6 of the gg4, 2 will get a weak feed flush of 1.2ec 6.0 ph 2 will get an increase of N by 0.2ec added to normal feed and 2 will get an increased feed of 0.2 ec Epsom salts hopefully something good comes of this I’m going grey over this lol
