I just noticed this on a few leaves today. I can't figure out what may be causing this. I am using promix soiless medium and ph all my water and feed to 6.2 Thank you for your help!

is there any other spots or marks on the plant?
is this outdoor?

hoping not but it could be a fungal issue like septoria

It LOOKS like potassium edge crisping but the overall tone of the leaf otherwise suggests it's getting a good diet. What are you feeding? If dry amendments, the root tips could have ventured into a hot nutrient pocket. Or if you see a couple of these sitting higher up on the plant it could be moisture condensing on the leaves that then gets cooked off by the lights. If it's not toward the top where light is a potential culprit, it likely was just a hot pocket and after a couple good deep waterings the problem goes away with the medium more evened out.

It’s outdoors. In addition to the leaf being very wet it looks like there’s an oily substance on the leaf. If you look at the leaf that isn’t black the water is pooling up in pockets.

it’s definitely not a nutrient issue,. it’s either fungal or root rot,. you can easily see the yellowing along the edge of the blackness especially the pic with the round black spot,.

Naturally the leaf drops the water off. The leaf next to it has the water/ oil pooling right next to the two serade that have also turned black.

I'll have more pics in a few hours. Unfortunately I cut those leaves off before I posted. I have been feeding fox farm grow big @ 50% of the recommended dosage. Here is 1 had taken right after I cut those leaves off. The rest looked fine but I'll try to get more zoomed in pictures later. I very much appreciate all your suggestions and help!

Yeah that's what confused the hell out of me lol. Those black edges came out of nowhere. I plan on grabbing some fungal spray on way home in case it is septoria.

I am thinking Septoria? I cut these off and applied Captain Jacks copper fungicide. Hopefully that helps

That looks like the early stages of leaf edge necrosis. Since you're already adjusting your water to an appropriate pH, I'd start by checking whether it's affecting only the older leaves or if it's spreading to new growth.

Common causes include potassium deficiency or lockout, salt buildup in the root zone, or environmental stress. If you're feeding regularly, it may not be a lack of nutrients but rather the plant having trouble taking them up.

I'd check your runoff pH if you can, make sure you're getting a little runoff during watering, and keep an eye on whether the spots continue to spread over the next few days. If it's limited to just a few older leaves and the rest of the plant looks healthy, it's usually not something to panic about.

A full picture of the plant and a little more information about whether it's in veg or flower would make it easier to narrow down the cause.

It's outdoor veg and now I see spots on the other.

he shouldn’t be using any ph stuff with promix,.. and has nothing to do with nutrients,.

Yeah I see it now. A little more obvious closer to the tip. I'm in an arid zone so wet problems are the last thing on my list.
