Please Help Me Setup A Small Grow

My wife is very ill and I ain't doing so hot myself. Even though price for smoke has drop a friend has offered to do an indoor grow. We are looking at a tent, led lights, air flow, deorderizer etc.
What the goal is about 8 ozs a month. So, we are looking at an 80 inch tall but 4x4 or 4x6. What do you think for size?
The tent will be in garage that can get to 120 f. In the garage the oder would not be a problem. Just a good exhaust fan? If indoor temp not the problem but there we think a charcoal filter.
Lights are going to be LED. I thought 1600 watt. What do you think?
Asscessories? Thinks you forgot when you set up?
Got the pots, soil, ferts and boosters.
The goal is that each harvest with have a sativia dominate and indica dom or pure. At first will use the autoflowering then add in feminized as the timing gets worked out.
Okay, I searched and have a dozen or so answers for each questions. I work best when KISSed. I even saw formulas to fiqure this and that. From you experienced tent grows get me up and going. As I learn and I do tend to at time and will learn better questions. Anyone grow companion plants to wart of beasties and to help the soil? Red

Sorry to hear about your wife. I hope you both get well soon. From what i understand you will mix sativas with indicas in a tent and want to get 8oz a month. Then you’ll need more then one tent. More like 4 if you can afford it. 1 veg, 1 sativa, 1 indica, 1 mothers and clones. The last one can be eliminated without much effect so you’ll end up with 3 tents and if you can not afford that either at least get 2.

Qbs are good in hot places but still 120f is too hot. Plants will die. Ac is definitely needed. If you get an ac in there and some co2 with a regulation system hooked up, you will not need to vent outside and since qbs run cooler and ac is providing the cool air everything should work better. Tho you’ll need to seal the area to run co2 eficiently.

Or get them inside as you said and buy a big exhaust fan, connect a carbon filter and let it scrub the air.

Well anyway these are the opsticales and probable solutions that i can think of.

Considering one of these? BESTVA DC Series 2000W King Plus 2000W Double Chips. I know there are much more expensive lights but do you think 2000w should be enough for a 60x60x80?

Ok before lights lets talk about cloning. You cant clone autos. You need photoperiod plants to clone.

True and my opinion you want to go photo anyways. Autos are not easier. Every mistake cost you. They aren’t faster either. Only way your pulling 8 oz every 30 days is with 2-3 rooms. You need to stagger flower times by 30 days (can be done in same flower room shared) and keep a veg box with plants lined up to go in flower as you harvest ones in there. I was pulling around that Without really trying hard. But it is 4x8 used as 2 4x4 plots. Now I threw a net in one side of flower n it looks like it’ll be heavier. If it survives my issues right now.
Also to the light I’d use more than one piece. Like instead of 2000w get 2 1000w and space them proper. Idk budget but QBs are good. All are good if you can get a good even canopy. Put the lights on zip cords so you can drop n raise em right where you want em. Worth the $10. Ratcheting light hangers amazon. Don’t underestimate a t5 either. I got a 4 ft 8 bulb staggered bulbs it fliwers good. It’s all about even tops. Using the light you have best.

I'd go HID and buy a MH and a HPS bulb and learn from there, easier to see if your plants are having problems. And go coco, plenty of good coco growers on the Farm to help you out.

Coco wasn't cheap
Nutes arent cheap.
But neither are the bugs that come along and eat up yourshit in living soil.

Shit. I spent more on seeds than the gear in my room!
Its up to u,if ya wanna mix nutes, oh, water 2x a day coco is for u.
If U like watering every other day and dont wanna mess with the nutes then go soil, imo
