Smoothness comes from slow curing.

I've never dealt with Gage Green either. I have clone cuts from a local WA i502 farmer. I've heard good from my med supplier about the Grape Stomper (aka Sour Grapes). Right now the "buds" look mainly super frosted sugar leaf with alot of pistils. But there are a lot of calyxes under those pistils that still need to swell; just gotta be patient. I don't mean to knock the farmer I got my cuts from but I've tried his end product from the dispensary and what I have blows his stuff outta the water. I'm gonna swing by his place with a sampling of what I raised from his cuts. I don't think he knows what his genetics are capable of.

Getting close... Trichomes are cloudy on the original glue. She's coming down this weekend. She is the plant that was treated with Heavy 16 Fire. She is done a full week ahead of her untreated sister. The chem dawg that was treated is ahead of it's untreated sister. I conclude that the heavy fire does accelerate budding, which is very useful for an outdoor grower like me. No real difference apparent in bud size or quality, it just seems advanced over the control plants.

I had to put the carbon filter up this week. The girls are really letting their presence be known.
The Primordial Solutions products I've been using seem to be making the girls a bit frostier than what I recall from the grower I got my cuts from. IMO they put out a solid product. Just playing the waiting game.

You can never tell without a control. I'm glad I ran half and half.

The only control I have is my memory. I remember what I picked up from the dispensary; the quality of the dried flowers. I remember what I was shown for "almost" finished cuts of his own. My cuts, from the same mothers as his, are much frostier.

As you wish. Your overall growing process may just be better. I make no changes without a control.

The first girl was taken down last night; a beautiful Oregon Pino Noir. She went through a 6-week flower. Not the frostiest of the bunch but she produced well for first to finish.

You are so right man i had to clip a few little branches off to see if I liked it where she was and it was super smooth and very stoney after I dried it so I believe u 1000% plus I am a firm believer in getting a fade in my plants in the fall and this girl has just a little bit of yellowing and purple in the leaves so I figured that would be somewhat of what I wanted so were gonna see lol but thank u for ur insight

I try to dry as slowly as I can without getting mold. I hang them as shown in a cool dry room. They will take seven to ten days to get where the bud almost cracks off the stem. I then trim them off the stem, put them in paper shopping bags, and roll the top shut. I shake those to mix every other day, and leave them there until dry to the touch. They should still have a bit of spring to them, just a bit. The edges will be crispy. That will take one to two weeks. Again, they are in a cool (55-60*) dry room. Then they go into ziplocs. I don't bother with jars, but I'm gonna do a couple for comparison this season, to check myself.

Not fancy, but I just grow for my own, family, and friends use. If they don't like it they can pay for pot, LOL.

Seriously, this simple method generates weed that I have never gotten complaints from. The key is slow, and bagging before its totally crispy.
