Considering building a 4x8 room (42"x7'x85"h actual). Inside of my 20x40 metal uninsulated pole barn. In northern michigan many days below 32F. Could I keep enough heat in this area?

2x6 frame with r-19 insulation as well as foil face r-3 insulation inside. I plan on using 2 315w cmh lamps in this area on during the day usually between 10F-40F. I only plan on growing in 42"x50-60" and using the extra space to store nutes and space for fan/heater.

Thanks.

If you are trying to save heat in the winter, it helps to put the intake duct for your exhaust air near the floor of the grow area. you still get air exchange but your pulling out the coolest air near the floor.
If you are using something like a "cool tube" duct the output of the tube to the floor (away from your exhaust) to help spread the heat from the light.
