Me and a buddy are starting up a pollination station tonight, i have done plenty of research myself and have a pretty good idea of how were going about it.
I was hoping by posting this i could talk with someone who has experience in this, or maybe even read peoples tials and tribulations.
I have a 4x4x8' tent sent up with carbon filter.
Again any information will help.Thanks

ITS HAPPENING!!!!!!!

Are you looking to pollinate the whole grow or be selective and only do a few branches? Doing the whole grow is easy, just leave that male in with the rest of the females and with good air circulation you will pollinate that grow like bukake porn.

Trying to do just a couple of branches or using multiple different strains of males is where it gets tricky. You need to set up some way to isolate the male and catch the pollen when it falls, I put some foil or parchment paper on the top of my pot to catch and then a translucent garbage bag over the whole thing sealed to the bottom of the pot to keep pollen from flying around. After a week or so take the contraption into a separate room and collect your pollen, then bring in your desired female and apply pollen where you want seeds with a small brush. I let it sit for an hour then spray it down with water to kill any pollen and put it back into the flower room.

Yeah were gna be pollinating the whole tent, so i was looking for some do's and some definite do not's. My main worry is we'll be having plants on the normal cycles so i dnt want anything getting loose. I actually made these filters for this project main idea to keep it self contained ,what do you think?

Seems like it should work, assuming you have a regular negative pressure tent setup going I would think just putting that over the hole for your exhaust would work fine. Maybe turn down your fans for a week or two. You could also hang a wet towel on the outside over the exhaust port, assuming your fan can push past it...but I would expect any stray pollen to get blown directly into the towel and the water to kill it off. Make sure to turn off any fans or such in the room the tent is in when you open it up or else it could get out. Just be cautious and always try and keep any sort of breeze to a minimum and it should work out fine.
