Poppin' a few seeds from THCBay

Lol, I feel ya man. It is tough when we can only pop a few beans of each, each run. Doesn't leave much room for error or selection. No doubt on the SFV OG. I should have the first one done around mid-Jan. Shouldn't be too long down the road...

No doubt on the SFV OG. I should have the first one done around mid-Jan. Shouldn't be too long down the road.

As far as grail type, I'm really hoping for something special out of the SSSDH, white bubbas, white fires, and headband. All those are supposed to have some knock you on your ass fire that I've been looking for. My SFV from last run is great, but it only went 60 days, so this run at 70 days should be an all new beast.

I guess I've got to the point, where theres only a few breeders that drop consistent dank that I really turn to. I know a lot put out some really good smoke, but like you I'm on the search for the dankest and IMO only a few are working with the genes that you can't build a tolerance to and have potential to really find something new and special in........ the alientech crosses swerve is about to drop should be insane, along with his Chemdog 91 and aj's sour d crosses. Raskal is droping some more white master and white urkel soon. JJ has been dropping some sick ass HP crosses and Dawg crosses.... Think its just a select genepool to wade through at this point for the best. IMO I've smoked some good stuff, but the diesels, chems, and ogs run the show.

A small update:

I've had time to sample these strains extensively. The original moms were definitely stressed from the supersoil. The clones grown from these plants exhibited normal growth.

Still not that impressed with the Lapis. Good pot....has a SLIGHT taste reminiscent of Bubba Kush but it just never really comes through that strong. PRETTY stuff. Bag appeal is off-tha-hook.

Preservation Haze- There's a slight taste of spice in the smoke. Buds are generic looking with a slight cedar smell. The buzz is somewhat "creeper" but not overwhelming or super potent. Not bad weed...just kinda ordinary.

Chemo OG- beautifully frosted nugs. Unfortunately, there's not much smell or taste.
Haven't smoked much of it. Without flavor I'm not interested in how high it will get you/etc.

Skunk IBL- Ok.....this is the winner of the group. DEFINETELY the biggest yielder and best growing plant. I have 2 of these still going in 18 gallon pots w/vert lighting and they are making baseball bat sized colas.

I found no RKS in my pack. Both of these smell undescribably sweet...almost like 7-Up when cured... and smoke very nicely. Not a deep taste, but it's there. Stone-wise this strain definitely packs a good punch. Kinda in the head....but will make you heavy if you keep hittin dat pipe!

not alot of stretch...about average....but wow....she just packs it on in the end...

I'll take some pics on my next trip up to the garden. If these plants continue to pack it on in the last 2 weeks or so they are going to be HUGE.

thanks for stoppin in....

OK....so I'm not QUITE done yet....

This is a MONSTA that came from the pack of "SKUNK IBL" F2's that Haze Ventura sent in and I purchased via the Joe Schmoe Auction. No roadkill...but a nice, sweet kinda dank
just the same.

As you can see...the Son of a fookin' bitch is 3"+ in diameter.....then SPREADS OUT! You can see how the full-size Bic is dwarfed in comparison....

and she's nice and hard. Her sis wasn't quite as large nor did she get as dense...but she was still no slouch.

Did a shot with leaves on...then larger leaves trimmed off....

gonna take a few weeks to dry this one...LOL Gotta be a QP here on this top alone

Thanks for tuning in!
