I use an off the shelf living potting soil made by EB Stone called Recipe 420 Bhang. I've tried the original but I like the Bhang better. What's hilarious is our local DIY store carries it and I discovered it purely by accident when I was there picking something else up so I decided to try it.

I dont want to make this shit any more complicated than it has to be. Give me a soil that has everything a plant would be hungry for as they grow and that you don't have to be a chemist just to water the damn thing. Well, the 420 Bhang will get through 3 months of veg without needing to add anything but tap water and sunshine. It does need some supplementation through flowering. I've used Fox Farm Bloom and added bud candy but the next grow I'll be trying Recipe 420's organic dry fertilizer that's designed for the budding phase.

This monster cropped clone is at day 48 and it only gets water and sunshine. No nute deficiencies to chase down. This is how it should always be with every grow. If only... Lol

I'm just a lazy fucker. Heres my current mix. It's not living soil and it's not super soil and I have to tend it. I call it one armed super soil with no fingers.

Reclaim, Ocean Forest and Just Natural.
Since its a starter/grow...
3/4 Gaia Green 444, 1/4,,, 284
Lots of DE
Lots of Worm Castings
A even spread of Recharge that has some Great White mixed in.
Some Mykos, Azos, CalCarb sampler packs.
Fed with Gaia Green in grow. This ain't no mix and forget. But damn close and organic and can control PH until you blow past 8.0 ph tap.

I change it around. But Reclaim, Ocean Forest, Happy Frog and I liked the look of Just Natural, Gaia Green, DE, Worm Castings are the staple goods.

Mist it down and turn it baby turn it and let it cook.

Don't let anybody tell you this is to hot! I will pop seeds in it and roll the grow. And be adding more Gaia Green, Worm Castings, Recharge, Molasses and Photons to it. My problem is the dimmer knob is like the throttle on my motorcycles. I want to rip ass! Want to know how I bring a helmet head up? Let me know. Been doing fufu breeder test grows for over two years. When these last two grows are done. I'll be popping RQS and FastBud seeds. And if God willing a landstrain. Gots to have a landstrain grow or I might go postal in 2025.... Enjoy your grow!!!!!!

FFOF is a good base which (we should know by now is not too hot for modern autos), but it isnt complete or ideal as is. I make my own version to save money.
20% SEA SOIL
(This is 2 year aged fish and wood compost)
60% coir
10% pearlite
5% worm castings
5% medium pumive
Azomite and glacial dust per label instructions
Gaia Bloom around 30% of label
Pumice gets charged in 24 hour worm tea with liquid kelp, molasses and great white which has azos mycos and a huge variety of bennie bacteria.
This only needs water with bennies and kelp, and a little top dress with worm and organic bloom powder.
It wont win am award but its pretty failsafe and does me proud for the small amount of time I can spare for the hobby.
