My son and I were doing some yard work, clearing weeds and all. We saw this and were like "ok, we're done".

Yeah, yours is a male, the other a female. but that is also a riding spider, they’re tell tale colors are the call sign. When I first moved down south, saw a few for the first time, they where as large as my head, fucking scary to say the least, I think between your pic and the other, we have both male and female examples here

That's a hermaphrodite!!! ;)

How is rosin made? And what the hell with that spider mite hotel?? Usually by the time they get that bad they've sucked the plant into a dry mess........

Where's granny? :(

And that penis resin monster has to be photoshopped.......

Hey I just realized that the words penis and resin have only 1 different letter. This is the most useless piece of information you'll learn until the next thing I say....

That's the black and yellow garden spider. We had those everywhere in Indiana when I was growing up. They're actually good because they catch a lot of flies and mosquitos and other flying nuisances, and harmless to humans.

Here in Colorado, we have THESE MOTHERFUCKERS -

And in Iraq, they were 3x bigger. Fuck. These. Things.

They're not harmful to humans either, but still. FUCK THEM.

You can all show all the pictures of all the bugs you want. We in New York City will always have the most disgusting thing ever........no, not that guy, although it couod be a tie.......

And let's put aside the rats the size of cats who run around the streets at dark, in and out of all the garbage bags they want like an amusement park...

We call them waterbugs. Palmetto bugs, whatever, and I know other places have them. Let's call them what they are. Giant, flying roaches. These things are 3, 4" long, they will crall through holes, heating systems, fly up the sides of buildings.......they will turn their heads and look at you as if to say "Eff you, you ain't hitting me". I have a deep hatred for these things.

My Dad is a retired FDNY Lieutenant from lower Manhattan. The stories he's told me.......but one day they get an alarm for a fire in the subway tunnels . It often involves walking underground through a network of areas. Well they arrive in this one dark area adjacent to the fire. They can see a little, and notice that the walls are moving.........they turn on their flashlights, and millions of these friggin' things, they start moving because of the fire and smoke......and they start flying, and falling........raining down on to the firefighters....on their helmets, clothes, they get into their boots, under their outer gear, under their clothes......and there's nothing they can do until they get out and ip to the street level where they all procede to dance and throw them all off, to the horror of onlookers.

I. Hate. These. Things.

Palmetto bugs (tree roaches locally) are a fucking problem here, I have 3 ancient pecan tress in my backyard that those damned bugs love, I refuse to get rid of the trees, if I did I wouldn’t have to go around my house yearly filling gaps and cracks in every imaginable spot. They suck, every spring they start popping up. It’s like this, if you have trees on your property in Texas, you are going to deal with them. I too can’t stand them, my cats are great for the few that get past my “bulwark”.
