That’s awesome! You plan to get it running eventually?This story starts off with me seeing some metal sticking up out of a dried up river bed by about 2 inches.
The digging wasn't going happen by hand and the ground was full of short pieces of thick steel wires a shovel was about use less.
After hours of digging It had two narrow steel wheels ,, first thoughts is some kind of old cannon.
Then i dug up enough to see it had a crankshaft and rod .

Still not really knowing what it was and it was still in the ground I hooked my truck up to it a pulled it out.
After getting it back to my place and hosing it off for a hour I see a spark plug .but it looks weird and not like engine covered in mud.
@ present it is being repaired I bent the crankshaft pulling the engine out of the mud .
It is a 1887 Inverted Webster 3.5 hit and miss engine ... the piston was not seized.

yeah they do! By the time you hear them start chirping it’s only about 2 weeks before they are pushing out from under the mother lolYeah it is cool and we can watch them from our couchwife is getting empty nest syndrome cuz she says they should be flying away in about 5-6 days !! They do grow FAST !!
