Dam, I'm green. 73 they were at their best! That's the tour The Song Remins The Same "was recorder. They put out Zep 1-IV, and Houses all from late 68-72. Imo they were the best, and 2nd wasn't closeI saw Led Zepp in Jacksonville FLA Houses of the Holy term. My roomate Willie Green ate some brownies that night. Jimmy Page man, he didnt ever look like he was trying. So smooth.
Was married july 6 1973 in Ontario Canada, best friends of ours bought us wedding gift tickets to led zeppelin show in Buffalo ny on the 15th. Stopped doing Daytona years ago. All in one whack the cops became a true pain in the ass and the race was ruined. Then my in-laws bought a apt. complex and they set aside several units for family members to use. Wife and I thought what the hell,,, lets go back to Daytona and see if it's still a shit show. Then the apt. complex got flattened by a storm,,,, never mind,,,, lmao. My last M8 Harley spent most of it's life torn down because it loved to sump and burn it's self down. After the third engine rebuild in 17k miles it went to the scrap yard and the Wing became a reality.Looking forward to spring myself. Jim dandy in his longjohns!first concert was captain and tenile? with parents in toronto,, than on my own was in 83 or 84,,i remember the first 3-4 concerts were all within a week in detroit, rush- grace under pressure tour, aerosmith back in the saddle tour, deep purple-perfect strangers tour, i think zappa at meadowbrook, that was an eye opening experience, i don’t mean the show.. seen the dead 60-70 times, seen the whole europe 90 tour.. though wish i was about 10 yrs older just to have seen many bands that were basically done by the time i started going.. never seen black oak arkansas!
