This is a manuka honey plant, a baeckea and a kangaroo paw, all native to my locale in the coastal Sydney basin (zone 11). Some of the native plants here are now endangered so I’m starting a mostly native balcony garden.

Probably, what is the climate like there? Do you know you plant hardiness zone? These natives are very tough. Will grow in any soil but this species prefers sandy well drained soil and a fair bit of sun. They can withstand winds, drought, flood and no sun, though.

Picture of the place I want to build but still have fear... Lots of rocks up there though which maybe I can bring more up making it safer...

It's steep incline but here it's got lots of rocks in the stream... next to me..

It's a dicey area but does anyone agree it can be done prudent. Maybe bring in bamboo or hemp... plants above and below that improve it..

I might be alright with building something temporary below for a few seasons but this would be the goal..

Frankster what a beautiful piece of earth there. Betcha there’s some fish in that river below. I love rivers and streams cause they are like life, just keep flowing. What’s winter like there?

King salmon and steel head stop at the waterfall right here, right now... Going down to bath with them. Need hook and sinks... yes and about five other species... Plus the and that prey on them
