Oh yeah, I never fell for that crap. Outside of those 5 pretty cheap hydro nutes I've only ever tried rapid root start as an additive to my regime. I noticed a HUGE uptick in roots. They'd get so thick the air stone would get lodged up in them. Then I grew a crop without it and had no less yield despite having less roots so stopped paying 50 bucks a pint for it. That was enough for me to just stick with what worked.

You're not telling me that kid at the hydro shop who tried to convince me bottled nutes are organic with that old out of context definition "from carbon" was lying are you?

I wanted to say finish the fucking definition and don't try that bullshit here. Give me my fulvic acid. He had to have seen it all over my face.

Oh yah also according to him you have to cook soil for years to get it half as good as fox farms...lmfao...yep I've used fox farms in the past. I still deal with fungus gnats because of them.

Nettle Tea: I go in the woods I gather nettles, I take a 2 litre plastic bottle, stuff it full of chopped nettles, add a little bit of water (100ml will do) and replace the cap.

Drill a tiny hole in the cap.

Sit bottle upside down in a container, a bucket will do.

After 3-4 days the plant material will start to break down and a thick, dark green liquid will start to drip out of the bottle, within 8-10 days I will have about a litre of concentrated nettle juice. Dilute 1:10 and use.

I think I'll just stick to 6 auto plants in 3gal pots, I think it's enough space for them to thrive and fill that 4x4 just nice. I'm afraid of 5 gal pots, cuz it will get crowded like hell, and end up like my last grow, 9 plants in 4x4 all fighting each other for light, space, air etc.

Start them all in final 3 gal pots, do some light LST, like a little bending of the main stem to keep them a bit shorter, I know you aren't supposed to train autos, due to stressing to easy and get stunted, but I think a little LST won't hurt right?

No lst, supercropping, scrog... Just let it grow naturally. When bending the plant it slows growth. The apical bud is no longer dominant until a new apical bud takes it's place or the original one comes back

Good advice if you know the stretch on your strain. If you look back I started natural form but ended up with 350% stretch. Had to tie them bitches up. Guess I worked that root spread a little too much in vegative

Spirulina powder during veg, accelerates growth, supplying all the enzymes the soil needs during first weeks of life.
I go to organic foods etc shop, I buy 200g ziplock bag of spirulina powder, for 4$, I take 1 table spoon and add to 1 gal of water.

Spirulina has high amounts of Mg and Ca as well as all the elements in the periodic table, and this way I won't be needing to pay huge $$ for watered down calmag formulas and such, when I have Spirulina which also feeds the beneficial microrganism in the soil, resulting for a fast nutrient up take.

Nah I ended up with straight sativa dominant widow and northern lights. My Afghan kush only got a 100% stretch. I also feed malted grain. The normal rule of thumb for stretch doesn't apply. Massive root systems lead to massive stretch. Not only for top colas but also for bottoms. I have a sativa with bottom colas at level with the top with no training. Coconut water and malted grain.

Oh man the shit I've heard over the years and all these new products!
EM1, grokashi, premixed shelf stable teas... Years ago you couldn't find any products at the fool shop that I guess you can say are centered around living soil... even know they're not!
I once had a guy that worked at the fool Shop try to tell me you hang cannabis upside down so the THC can drain out of the stems and into the Buds.

Fox farm ha

I never said it can't be done, I said it slows the apical bud. That's a fact. Read up and educate yourself. Grow two autos or any freaking plant. Leave one alone and top the other!

Nice room though! It's very rare that I grow autos and if I do, I just throw them in the backyard. I have nothing nothing against them I think they're awesome.

I do it all the time!
These were not topped....
I removed the fan leaves on the apical cola twice during veg to promote
branching..
Apical colas are not effected...
