Growing sour deisel and had some friends that have great luck with nectar of the gods nuts line. Couple times I have fed them. At quarter strength the plants have burnt the tips. They like water. However I did get a ec pen today and not sure which scale to use as it’s got 509 and 700 scale. Blue lab pen. Any help is appreciated
For literature, unless the PPM scale is disclosed at the front of the book, the best indicator would be where it was written. The USA mostly uses the 500 PPM scale, Europe and the UK predominantly use the 700 PPM scale, and Australia could be any of them. I know, what the hell right! It gets worse with the meters.
I see a lot of new growers are confused about which PPM scale their chosen nutrient company uses. Or they don’t even know there are different scales. I know I didn’t when I first started. Knowing which scale your nutrient and meter manufactures use could potentially save you from major problems...

I am no expert, but at early signs of nute burn you could try to stop or lower feeding for a while, and lower daily light intake. (reduce intensity or number of hours of light) until you can sort it out.
