I noticed you watched me lecture heterzygotes to find the Tall Dom JillyBean.Subcool plants for seed stock genetic designation of (T). I thought you watched me created GMO Fem Seeds to produce Hermy Rec Genetic Designation of (hh), but for geneticist reading this, I was simplifying (hrhr) or (hrhrhrhr) which ever you're using down to (Hh) for a conceptual lecture. On my thread I'm going to put a video tutorial from a badd Ass geneticist that I follow. He smiling big because this is the tie it all together tutorial. I will tie the punnet charts we made to pedigree charts to give full control over our cannabis plants. I get all giddy when I give this lecture also, But I lecture the video using specific cannabis strains and we work with actual genotype of cannabis strain we've all might have grown. (real world examples using real cannabis as you've noticed).

95% of all the plants Ive grown have been reg seeds. Or I should say I thought they were.

Salvation Army, buy a Hot Water Bed heater, they have nice thermostats and they last thru moist conditions and you can turn em up so hot they'll keep a covered plant alive thru a Colo winter.

Not digging these beans so far. 5 days in a shot glass only 1 had a 1/8" root sprout. Nothing on other 2. Figured I'd just put them in ocean forest (20%) and light warrior (80%), and see if they take off. 6 days later, absolutely nothing. I've never had a seen not germinate, let alone 3. I feel like I just started popping seeds 5 yrs ago. Even back then i never lost a seed.

I'll try.and fish the seeds back out, and put them in a paper towel in a zip lock and see if that helps

I bought some pre 98 seeds from elite back in 06. They took 3 weeks plus to germinate. That was the best smoke, lost all the strains I got from him.

I've been helping revitalize a host with lazy plant syndrome...I would say yes, some drift, it's going to take me forever to reveg my mom and then clone off it...well worth it tho.
My favorite cut of Bubba is much more coffee and less og then this pre-98 and not as vibrant orange red hair either but my fave cut is a bit more vigorous and bulky on flower and more on the indica side...this pre-98 has me a nice cerebral buzz to in which my fave Bubba cut has a much lower ceiling about as the couch and then it's night night for the lightweights...lol memories

That Bubba , I wished I had taken a clone , but Im 90% sure the other one is your Bubba cave crew. And I dont know if there will be extras rite away but the Katsu is in town on Bandimere Friday!:)

dont quote me on any of this stuff.
Lazy Plant Syndrome
Cave crew, you guys go in deep, I'm not even going to touch this one. I go cross eyed looking at this shit and drift off to other subjects at this point.
YES plants can be revitalized -its not easy, and the science is gross :puke2:
You're going into DNA Replication Termination
DNA replication in eukaryotes
Telomere - we say, revitalize, vigor, rejuvenate,
Telomerase - Drift - lazy plant syndrome.
I think i got that rite.
DNA linear mostly, but all strands,,,screw that, I cant explain this stuff , I'm not even going to post the video so here a link, PHd crap, if you can stand trying to understand this, but this is what your doing in a 'natural occurrence' when you're rejuvenate your plants imo ;
I mailed the boring video to you

Looks like someone still hand trimming.
My smell and taste are burnt out from to many years of smoking and spicy foods. Smell seems on point with a earthy coffee funk.
Smoke report to follow.:smoking::fire:

Yah I know what you're saying. Every time DNA is replicated the strands are shortened until they are no more. It's why we eventually die also. Cells lose DNA code to build more.

There is an immortal jellyfish. It can somehow reset it's genetic code.

@DemonTrich if you get desperate you could try cold stratification. Put em in a moist towel and put them in the refrigerator for a week. Take them out and throw them on the heat mat. Just a thought. And you know I'm going to say aloe and coconut water.

its 1.5m or 5ft tent but this house leaks so much heat in winter and have been trying to get oil filled radiator with room humidistat rather than variable, but that sounds like it might be my Christmas present to self got to still look at what lino said too. I did autos last year too keep lights on longer last year. but when I started growing again it was to grow and preserve the strains I want to grow. although the autos are not bad I didn't feel the same love when growing so it will be good to have more control

in the winter for outdoor plants I use waterbed heater on 4x4 plots and 5' tall plants, They'll keep the ground warm. I cover plants with bamboo poles and plastic. And when it gets real cold I turn up the waterbed heater and cover with plants with a blanket. I'm a ghetto grower, most of my equipment in from Salvation Army electronics I tear apart.

that's what I was thinking its root mass is too small cant go anywhere so feels flowering is best option. thing is in reality cant see me keeping it for long and have a cutting from her anyways, want brothers grim new stock but too many beans at mo so not yet. just wondering whether to chuck cause from feminised

Its a NOT a bad idea - if you test your seeds - and decide what direction your trying to go, And I'd guess to breed with pineapple c99 to save traits if poss. by growing out about 10 seeds at the least to get a guesstimate on what happened. I would use a very aggressive male for this cross. Try to use a male from a strain that is Hermy free on the female side of his strain also. remember you're shooting for heterozygous cross of the traits your crossing (PineC99 x another strain) looking for at least a Dom of 75% in your punnet's to solidify the Dom of the tested trait, as with the (T) gene, You'll need to watch for expressions on the herms, and mildew, sometimes the plants will come out weak, if they're real weak and getting PM, small root balls , end it unless your freaky breeder, even it the weed is good, Id end that strain work. I Had a resin Freak of Nature from a GG cross from a dispense, it got crossed with a orange plant at dispense. !/2 the offspring are getting PM. I might wack the other 1/2. That can be one problem with Fem seeds besides the GMO has the plant hormones in prob not a good thing for us to consume, imo. so it depends, you'll be starting over, you lost the Bad Azz bull in your Pineapple C99. Thats what keeps the gene pool strong, Ranchers aint stupid, cowboys are some good breeders too.

Ive heard breeders say the Feminized bred plants will have offspring that will never show the dads of all the former generations, IDK if that true but some guys that told me this have bred lots of cannabis and other plants. It makes sense to me in charts , but I need to work with that in my head for awhile longer.

one breeder says:
The Father carried
the OG taste
The PM traits
Big roots
big buds
hard to trim

So the Y chrome is gone they say: what left
just the female traits.

Ive been noticing in Wyo lately. This is good example: you know what Wyo women have in common besides baseball caps and blond and some brn pony tails in common. their healthy ladies, built nice and blocky, 5'6" to 5'9", I talk in breeding standards, lol

If you feminized those cowgirl ladies who'd know what you'd have and breed into , they could be sterile, inert.

I havnt done much testing with Fem seeds, some tests but not a lots, so I'm not the Expert, but I dont like what I read about it at all.

yeah I got most of that as have researched a little on the breeding side of things but my knowledge is only just starting understand. I sort of understand it a little like I still understand logic but cant put it in binary code as I could when kid. but this is far from a breeding project more like clearing out clutter and testing water and got soft spot for the plant and it shows amazing vigour for life with amazing taste and high although a little airy. so this is just clearing up a few loose ends. do you think 3 males too much for f2?
