Pre-flowers Or Not?

They certainly look like baby pre-flowers to me ! They are so tiny they are barely noticeable and only in certain places. None of them seem to be "balls on sticks" but rather teardrop shaped and nestled right into the "crotch" ? Are these not definitive pre-flowers and should I wait for pistils to sprout from these (or *knock on wood* more balls to show up?) Or am I looking at the wrong thing ?

Also, these pictures are from different areas on the same plant, and to clarify, I am not referring to the new growth tips, or the stipules, but the small pointed bumps between them

Watch for twin white pistols.
Most diagnostic observation I make.
Those circled spots may be nascent branches.
As for males, footballs on stalks are easy to spot as well, but let them develop.
They take weeks to produce pollen, so no immediate danger.

Thank you I just wanted to make sure those are the preflowers I'm looking at right? They just aren't fully developed yet ?

No.
IME the pre-flowers will grow out at the base of each side of your circled tissue.

I think you are looking more at the second picture I posted because it came out larger , but that one was the first picture I took which is not as good, and the black circles are circling the dots at the bases of both the new growth tips (albeit very loosely but I was circling very tiny plant parts with my finger on a smart phone so it's as close as I could get) I am not talking about the new growth tips themselves. The first picture I posted above that one, and (again in the comments with yellow circles around them) are more up close and focused on the plant parts I'm talking about specifically.

This first picture here looks exactly like what I have, so I hope that I can keep an eye out for pistils. She is my best girl so it would really be nice if she was one.

Yes.
That last circled pic is where I look first.
That looks female to me, but I'd like to see pistols on my seedlings before taking action.

Aye i agree with dung.looks prolly fem but need pistils to be 100%sure.patience is what u need in this game.and theres no silly questions in my ooinion.
