Hello. I have seen the first signs of white powdery mildew in my indoor cultivation. I can't get the humidity below 65%, how can I most effectively stop the spread of the disease? I'm 3 weeks away from the end flowering. How fast is this spreading?

It's a difficult situation to be in. You can try to battle it but its constantly shedding spores. I'm not aware of any safe way to finish a grow once its been infected. Maybe someone who knows more than I might chime in ... however, beware of "snake oil salesmen." It's tough when you're already in flower!

A number of years ago, I brought it in accidentally from outside. I had a stoned moment and forgot to wash up and change clothes between indoor and outdoor gardens. I fought it as hard as I could ... but in the end, I culled the grow and cut my losses before anymore time and effort was spent. Afterwards, I had to do a thorough cleanup including spraying down the tent with rubbing alcohol.

How much can this spread in the three weeks I have left? Today I have already removed all the leaves with visible infection.

It can spread quite a bit actually. By the time you see it, the infestation is already established itself.

I'm sure you were as careful as you could possibly could be ... but with every movement it was shedding more spores. You can't spray anything on a plant in flower. You might be able to carefully dust the leaves with a paint brush dipped into something like Bonine's Sulfur Plant Fungicide. I have been able to slow it down but I've never won the battle. Hopefully your luck is better than mine.

Can you get a dehumidifier for the next round of growing? Spraying anything while that deep in flower is very risky, especially if your planning on consuming the flower. Might be shit out of luck.

No one has said it yet so I may as well be the one ... It's a health hazard actually. Smoke at your own risk. For some people fungus in their lungs could be deadly.

A lot. You will see.
I have had thrown a couple grows to the garbage.
Started to spray with wettable sulphur just before flower to kill if it’s around.

This. If you want to save your flowers this would probably be the gentlest method but you're going to have to spray down the entire crop with water to wash off the milk otherwise in a week or so it's going to smell like ass in your space. If you have a leaf blower use it to dry off the plants. Your space is probably rife with spores floating around so after you harvest you're going to have to do a serious disinfection of the space. Some use rubbing alcohol. Some use bleach. I like to turn on my exhaust fan to 10 and stick the wand from a Hudson Sprayer inside the tent and try and spray down all the inner surfaces. Having the exhaust on will run some of the bleach through the fan killing whatever spores may be hiding in there.

Sounds like you're going to need to dedicate a dehumidifier for your area if it is traditionally humid like that. I have the opposite problem. Around these parts if humidity gets above 35% we'll be breaking records! I have two humidifiers going in my 5 x 5 and they're only able to get the humidity up to around 60% and that's with them going full blast! I go through around 3 gallons of water for the humidifiers every 24 hrs. Thankfully I only have a few more weeks that I need to keep this humidity level up.

I don't know how smart it would be to spray all the plants now, I have 1150 of them and I still have 20 days left. I use dehumidifiers with a total capacity of 300l/day. Does anyone have experience or where they noticed how useful a clean 36w UV lamp is? I will buy this lamp tomorrow and remove the leaves all day, and I hope they will last these 20 days. Is it possible for me to win?

I'm sorry for your loss.. from my experience once you have mildew its hard to get rid of it you should space your plants more and add adequate ventilation to prevent this from hapenning

1150 plants so your a commercial operation and you are willing to do anything to get it to harvest to sell to unsuspecting medical patients? How do you have 1150 plants and not be able to control the environment (humidity etc) I’ve heard of people using lost coast therapy and pure crop 1 up till harvest but I wouldn’t recommend it still can’t believe you have 1150 plants

yeah that seems a bit excessive to me too, probably should grow way less plants than that for the size of the room

1150 plants you need a fucking big warehouse and a lot of equipment.. I think you tried to do to more with less which isn't super good. The biggest grow I managed is a 100 plants but your scale is insane.. try with a smaller amount before investing massively with such an operation.. that.s a lot of plants man. Also to finish: what kind of army you have to do the trimming at the end of the grow ?
