Hello fellow farmers.
I prefer older strains like Girl Scout Cookies, Pineapple Express, Purple Kush
and various others. I need variety and have something for whatever mood or time of day.
Ok maybe not quite old school but I think I first had this about 20 years ago ? I've had my cut for about 5 years.Gosh you just made me feel like a dinosaur with the Girl Scout cookies being called a old strain
All the best bud
Just up the road.Hey whats up @Robgrows and Welcome
Im a Promix user for life and its super easy man. At times I run organic bottled nutes, but mostly use Advanced Nutrients. Indoor Farmer hooked me up with some teater dry amendments (Bokashi) I believe, and I did add some last run. Unfortunately ran into PM and tore the basement down, so not to familiar with the dry nutrition method
I usually run Advanced Nutrients at half the suggested dose, and rarely ran into any lockout or nutrient burn
Im in the KW area bro!!
I keep it basic....half dose every feeding. I only use Advanced Nutrients Grow and Micro during vegetative phase. Then switch to Micro and Bloom for flowering. PH'd to about 6.2Just up the road.
Thanks for chiming in. Ok so this is what I'm looking for. So half dose. Every time or do you alternate with just water ?
It was just a joke my well it sounded funny in my headOk maybe not quite old school but I think I first had this about 20 years ago ? I've had my cut for about 5 years.
Panama Red, Columbian Gold and the dreaded brick weed whatever that was. Those were from my teenage years
in the 70's. Those are old school.
Cheers
Grew some c99 a few years ago. I liked it but the kids didn't.I run ProMix HP with well water and Mega Crop one part (Greenleaf Nutrients)..
MC is an inexpensive dry powder and I feed every watering by weight.
Two SIP's and a hempy !
Cinderella 99, a bit hot @4.5g/gallon

Funny the things you remember from almost 50 years ago.It was just a joke my well it sounded funny in my head
Interesting that gsc is about 20 years old guess time flies
Glad you got the information you was asking about
Enjoy the adventure and all the best bud
Thanks again Greenadian. I'll be trying the half dose every time.I keep it basic....half dose every feeding. I only use Advanced Nutrients Grow and Micro during vegetative phase. Then switch to Micro and Bloom for flowering. PH'd to about 6.2
If plants are growing quickly and start packing the bud, I do add Big Bud (half dose) for a couple weeks
Judging by the fact the Destroyer took longer to even start flowering and how slow the buds are building I would say that estimate is going to be closeGrew some c99 a few years ago. I liked it but the kids didn't.
Never heard of Destroyer. Had to look it up. Does it really take 12-14 weeks ?
MMMM Panama.
Thanks for the info on Mega Crop. I'll have a look.
Thanks for all this info chuck. I have time now to put a plan together because this happened. Still hoping others that use the bottles will chime in.Judging by the fact the Destroyer took longer to even start flowering and how slow the buds are building I would say that estimate is going to be close
BTW > I did a few grows with AN ph perfect and found that anything over 1000 ppm burnt the shyt out of them. I backed off to 900 and was able to pull +13oz from an Early Miss Auto using a 600w MH/HPS in a wing reflector

But I quickly got tired of measuring out mls of six different products !
With Mega Crop one part you measure one part of powder by weight/gallon, done... And with ProMix HP it is not necessary to adjust ph !
I have compared AN, GH Maxi Series and Mega Crop one part and all of them performed equally well !
So for ease of use and Cost it came down to GH Maxi Series or Mega Crop one part. IIRC the MC worked out to be less than half as expensive as the GH and much less expensive than AN.
Again, IIRC it cost me ~$150 for AN to grow three plants with enough left to do four more. ~ $20/plant
I purchased a 25# bag of MC for $120 four years ago. I've grown 27 plants since then and still have about 4# left
~$3.50/plant
Cheers
What happened to the ProMix HP ?Thanks for all this info chuck. I have time now to put a plan together because this happened. Still hoping others that use the bottles will chime in.
