I recently took cuttings for the first time.

All 8 rooted. The first shown roots after 6 days, but the last 2 took 3 weeks.

They were all took on the same day, with a sterile blade. Dipped in clonex and into root riot cubes. Kept in the same basic propagator on a heat mat.

Im thinking upgrading my propagator will give more consistent rooting times?

Cant decide between x stream or the vitopod tall heated propagator. I’ve read aeroponic are good but the vitopod seems like the best version of what I’m used to.

Are aeroponic the better choice?

I made my own aeroponic cloner out of a short bucket and a lid with cloning collars. PVC pipe manifold, sprayers and a little pump. Air stone and tap water in the bucket with rooting powder. So far every clone has rooted. Cost about 20 bucks.

2" cloning collars. Hole saw. Plastic tote with lid. Some airline and airstones and a pump. Or venturi power head pumps. Done. If you want to be creative plum the airlines with fitting and it will be neat and tidy. With easy to change stones.
