Orright, life is in the fast lane. Just secured a lease (overpaid) on a 3 bedder w garage, 2 bathrooms, solar panels fkn everywhere!
So, the garage has no external venting but is on a concrete slab. What to do here THC friends? 16ft x 12ft. Tasty.My 7 x 7 here?
Main bathroom has a bath. Hello autos. Drain to waste—— too easy, just pull the plug out da fkn bath. Prolly do this as soil based.

Bedrooms are carpeted, so I am thinking garage. However, they all have sliding doors for built in robes, can we call them veg tents?
Oh yeah, its a 3 year lease and my leasing agent has a fondness for flowers = zero inspections…..

Corner house block 452 m2 with buffering trees outside all room windows and front of property. With adequate ventilation, i think i can grow a shit ton of weed and solar panels will keep my electricity usage within nobody looks zone.

Sooooo, I am thinking:

1) veg tent in one of the built in robes in one bedroom
2) regular auto grow in unused bathtub in unused bathroom. (That bathroom has a sep shower, open to ideas here…)
3) My 7 x 7 and all harvest/cleanup/maturation in the garage.

I have competing interests of wanting to max my production whilst staying on the dl. Oh yeah and keeping out of jail would be handy.

Any advice on setup etc would be appreciated. Moving house in 2 weeks and dropping seed and pumpin weed happens at that time…
I feel i need to get my aroma control up to the mark. Ultimately, i will be on the grow button otherwise.

It evolves…
The master bedroom is actually on floorboards not carpet like the other 2 br’s w a walk in robe and ensuite bathroom. Hmmmm
I would really like to keep my grow within the 4 walls of the house for convenience. There is no internal access to the garage, but external access door is protected/hidden.
Still don’t know which way to go here but i like the master bedroom option. I could veg in the ensuite, grow in the tent (1/3 the size of the room) and dry in the walk in robe. I think i like this idea v the garage. Thoughts are welcome folks.

Just had a bit of a brainwave to kickstart things. I do have some WW auto seeds which i could run 18/6 from go to whoa. Bit of a waste in a 4 pot 49sq ft tent buuuuut it would allow me to veg my first photos in the same tent at the same time. I could run the WW, plant my photos around end of week 4 in some of the larger rockwool cubes, veg them for 6 weeks in the same tent or however long it takes the WW to finish. This gets me Christmas weed for family and friends. Flip the photos to 12/12 whenWW is harvested and i am taking those babies down end of Feb if I use BB#3. Can someone please poke a hole in this, it sounds about as good as I can hope for turnaround wise to kick things off.

2 other large br‘s nice and big but on carpet mate. Just realised the master is on timber so we could sleep in one of the others and use the main house bathroom for showering instead of the master ensuite.
Whatchya think about the planned initial grow, running some autos 18/6 so I can veg some photos at the same time until the autos r finished?

Ok, I have tried to work this out and when it comes to power stuff i am a dumbass.
My grow room will have 2x315w cmh bulbs, running mostly during the day on normal veg/flower schedules.
My house has a 7,5kw solar setup.
Is it as simple as 2x315w in usage daily deducted from 7.5kw daily production.
This stuff is a real blind spot for me. Help appreciated.

Orright, done sum homework, think i goddit.
Veg 18/6
315w lamp = 315w x 18hrs x cost 14c kWh = 5670watt hours or 5.67 kWh
= 5.67 x 14c = .7938c per day or 80c day

Flowering 12/12
630 w lamp = 630 x 12hrs x cost 14c kWh = 7560watt hours or 7.56 kWh
= 7.56 x 14c = $1.09/day

Does this sound about right or are my decimal points all up the creek?

I know nothing about power electricity etc but I was running just the 1 600watt hps and it bumped my power up about 350 a qtr so for the price of 1 ounce everything after that is yours that’s the way I look at it my power bill was around the grand mark in winter anyway so all good 3 kids chew through more power than grow lights

Cheers JLTG. I am looking at $100/qtr approx i thinkjust for the lights, but I will only be running majority off peak. I have a massive solar rooftop (30 panels) and don’t have 3 kids on the consoles

all day. I am hoping 200-300 bucks/qtr all up including running the house.

Fanks. Get the keys today, move in over the next week or two. Pop some WW autos straight up on 18/6 and 4 weeks b4 harvest pop some Gorilla Zkittlez in the same tent on the same light cycle so they ready to transplant and flip when the WW done.Guess I should start a grow journal.

Will rest carbon filter on shelf rhs.
Connect carbon filter and inline fan to vent top left out of shot
Grow light to hang between shower nozzle and door frame, diagonally across cubicle

That blind is 2m wide. Flower Tent there, 2m x 2m. Vent above tent In roof. Ensuite bathroom will ultimately be veg room.

Walk in robe in master br, aka, drying closet. Yeah got the grow light there, was thinking bout it being the GR for this first grow.
Racks already there to hang coat hangers off for drying plants.
