Hey guys going to setup a new feeding system soon just top feed into coco with feeding rings and I'm thinking my pump might be too powerful maybe.
It's 4500 L/ph (1200 G/ph) planning on going to 8 pots well 7 pots to start with but eventually 8.
Will either of these get my less pressure?
Either 25mm from the pump into a tee piece that goes from 25mm to 2x 19mm manifolds

Or 19mm from the pump into a 19mm tee that goes to 2x 19mm manifolds or will that all be the same.

Is this a inline pump? What kind of psi is it? Which rings are you looking at?

It's just a standard submergeable pump like what you would find in a pond.
I'm not 100% sure of its PSI
The feeding ri g's are basicly a 13mm hose ring with 6 x 5mm elbows in it.

Does your pump have a pressure regulator? Most larger pond pumps have a way to regulate water pressure.

Are you pushing your feedwater directly from the pump to the rings or are you pumping it into a distribution head? I'm doing a similar setup.

I took a 260gph pond pump that has a pressure regulator and I'm running a 1/2" main line to a drip distribution head running 1/4" drip line to a ring I made with 5 drip T's. One to connect to the 1/4" feed line and four more evenly spaced in a circle with the 3rd leg pointing at the root ball.

Most do but for some reason this one doesn't seem like it's adjustable.
My setup is similar but no head like that.
I run from the pump into a tee that splits off into 2 rinse I make that circle back on themselves, from there I put 4 tees into each of those rings 1 for each pot and that goes into a feeding ring with 6 1/4" fittings for the water to come out.

I suggest you run it through the Distro head. If you can't adjust water volume through your pump you can still adjust water volume through the head as it has adjusters for each line. The head was less than $20.

Cheers I'll have a look around for them see what I can find
