putting string wax on your tent zipper

has anyone ever put bow string wax on there zippers to keep them moving smoothly ?

I've put candle wax on my tent zipper when I first got it. Was to hard to open and I was worried the zipper might get messed up.

Rubbed a candle on it and smeared the wax deep into the teeth and it fixed the problem pretty much

Me too... you have no idea. I should have been a doctor... I can barely read my writing and I managed to take that to a whole new level by barely being able to read my typing either... ⌨ challenged I guess.

When I had a tent I used the wifes house spray polish, it has silicon in it, and is slippery as you like, and not sticky, so won't attract more grime.

Oooh that's probably the best there is for the application. It also does wonders on floor for teaching kids how to skate and other members/visitors of the household.

It's like an invisible barrier for inlaws.
