Question About 150 Mh Vegg Light

I have a small grow space only plan on growing a ft tall with lst was going to vegg with cfl but it's way moor cash for 150w of actual cfl to flower with so been looking at 150w MH they like 10 bucks for 1 bulb can't seam to find a hood to fit the 150w mh want something cheep. I'm pretty sure I can't use a MH bulb in a 150w hps hood or I would please poast a link to 150w bulb and hood that will work togather.. I'm new to theses types of lights been growing with high end led. My grow room is made of of 2 small refrigerators I took and cut the top off of 1 in the bottom of the other bolted and tape them together to make one refrigerator that is approximately three foot tall and about 13 inches WYD front to back side to side to grow in I cut a hole in stand for pot to be placed in to give me a whole 3-foot of plants space

These are cheap and will take you from veg to flower if you get different spectrum bulbs, I think @rmoltis is using them for veg to flower in one of his threads. Plus the bulbs are cheap and you can get them in any spectrum.

I have been enjoying the t5 lighting with multi spectrum bulbs yes.

Good for compact spaces.
gives a nice even light spread.
And you get to hand tailor your final spectrum by mixing various colored bulbs.

The hps will penetrate better but will create more heat and need more distance from the canopy.

I think a 150 watt hps may be equivalent to a 200w 8 bulb t5.
Both put out similar lumens


I would compare the 2 and see which one sounds ideal for you.

Ty.. ima buy that for next grow.. I'm going to vegg with the 150w hps and 4 33w 6500k cfls the flower switch to 2 40w cfls 2700k and the 150w hps
