Question about my oil bong,,

I want to clean out my bong. I smoke oil out of it. Doest the metal piece detatch on the top there for removal? I dont want to break anything and im not sure if this piece comes off or not..

My ti swing is similar but my wire is fixed. Damn it does need a cleaning.....Yours looks like it could be lifted over the button but I wouldn't, that worked glass can be so touchy.
