I have never tried anything like that but as long as the Cologne have some maturity I don't see why you won't do okay. Just remember it takes a mature plant to produce quality. You can put a plant into bud at any point, but!!!
I have but not those kinds of numbers. Generally I just don't like working with clones. Mine tried to reveg even though it was mid-August and I had them on a matched photoperiod, so technically they should have just flipped into flower, right? Got something, but it just wasn't worth the effort for me.Hey guys this may seem odd but i have done plenty of out door grows from either clone or seed the usual spring time start .
But the question is has anyone ever ???
actually take rooted cuttings and plant them out doors in fall or natural bloom photo period so they flip to flower immediately and if so how did you fair ??? i have a 10 x 10 area where i am planning on dropping `100 clones and letting them do there thing in more or less a out door SOG
Thought anyone ??

I did this last year my friend. I put out fourty eight September first last year. Make sure you put hearty strains out, not some unstable shit, and not the ones that gave you the most wilt when and if you put em out, if you put similar strains out already. If they are not acclimated, that'll screw you out of a week or two. Anyways I wound up with about a zip or so each. Mob and Flo seemed to be the better strains for me anyway. Try it out you got nothing to lose, and everything to gain, if it doesn't work out, at least you earned a stripe.Well i am finding that the strain i am growing is one of them harder strains to clone
so far litterally 50 / 50 root rate down to 25 rooted clones from initial 50 cuttings taken still plan on taking lots more for indoor but waiting for plant to start its bloom stage presently on 13.8 hrs so thinking next week she will be on real stretch mode i believe it already has started this plant is seriously blowing up fast so will take lots more clones
we will see how it does not expecting pounds who knows larf or not could make for hash or butter and bakeries :) so its looking like 25 clones for this exp
Years ago i took 72 clones and placed them all into a tote and placed them on the outside area of 5x5 area being lit plants grew to about 10 " and i harvested around 1/2 pound sure it would of done better if it was under light we will see though thanks for the replies
Seamaiden i gave a friend clones this spring she placed them out side in early may only to find out they started to flip to flower as light hrs were short talk about time wasted but they eventually reverted back to veg thinking
by the time these clones are ready to go out side light hrs will be close to 12hrs oh well got to try it for the hell of it right
here about 25 clones few sorry looking but rooted lol View attachment 629111
Forgot to mention I left em in two gals, as any bigger is probably waste, you want a lil root bound. Keep in mind, lil fish lil aquarium, bigger fish bigger aquarium. A figure of speech for you smarties..,.i am exactly thnkin 1 - 2 zips per here is the donor plant mendo purps x trainwreck Reg seed
tonight i did first and final super crop light hrs are 13.8 so close to flipping naturally she is a beast and pretty fast grower anyways throwing 25 in the ground her clones
lets see what it does with tight internodes guessing some nice donkey diks coming out of her View attachment 629146 View attachment 629147 View attachment 629148
Also forces them to set flower sooner and they'll finish faster, IME.Forgot to mention I left em in two gals, as any bigger is probably waste, you want a lil root bound. Keep in mind, lil fish lil aquarium, bigger fish bigger aquarium. A figure of speech for you smarties..,.
If your in Colorado my friend the weather is very nice right now, no need to worry about cooking roots, however you may need to bring them in because it's Colorado man. Weird weather, not root bound, elements, etc.I agree root binding does give the effect
personally i am growing them all close together talking 6" apart sure there root sturcture will intertwine and no plans on making deep holes maybe 12 " depth's was planning on 2 x 6 bed 5 x 5 break up soil then add 6" of compost / soil mixture plant maybe 10 " of root zone
Northern Canada Eh lolIf your in Colorado my friend the weather is very nice right now, no need to worry about cooking roots, however you may need to bring them in because it's Colorado man. Weird weather, not root bound, elements, etc.
Are you going to do a thread with? I wud like to see hw that mendo purps does in that situation.
I just threw out 150 tiny clones and about 20 two footers to replant the 100 gallon pots in my light dep. seems like it's a lot better if the plants are at least a foot tall and healthy. The clones that flower immediately don't do very much. They need a couple roots and some growth to produce anything
