Question On Grow Tents?????

I want, need to purchase a grow tent and for reasons of privacy I need to buy in the US AND ship to my home so it does not go thru customs. So the poles what diameter are they can the be replaced with pc. The 60" poles I will need to cut to fit the 24" X 48" X 24" wide box I van ship in. I sent an emailil to supplier if the have a connector if I cut but I would say no. Any suggestions. I know we 1/2" pvc piping here and would think the metal poles woold not be much wider.

It depends on the size and maker of the tent, but Id say most tents your size use the 16mm(5/8") diameter rods. 1/2" pvc sounds really small, depending on the type and weight of the lights you'll be hanging you'd need maybe at least 1 1/2" pvc. Maybe someone more knowledgable will chime in. Good luck!

I expand the pictures of the grow tent I am looking at, it is very light weight and the poles look no bigger that 1/2". Price is $60.00 free shipping to my home in US. So it is not some giant heavy duty tent. Thanks.
