I've seen this mentioned before that they dont need to be burped. From what I can tell, while they might be the ultimate in long term storage, they dont magically cure the buds. It seems like a perfect option post cure though. The 10lb Grove Bags are $90 for 100lbs and you don’t need to burp (or check out the 55g liners). Grovebags.com
I would love to know what kind or type of air pump that is. Even the larger pumps we use for air stones dont have the balls to push that many buckets.Hello guys. We have whole greenhouse of cannabis. And we grow for a first time...
I've seen this amazing method.
Really inspired to implement it. Already added the parts to shopping cart, but...
I experience financial troubles right now, so maybe this would not be optimal to invest another 300$ into this...
I wonder if I could just put all my buds into few of those barrels

One guy told me it wouldn't be a problem to do so. I, however, worry that they would simply mold, or would acquire ugly shape
What can you say on this, guys? Thanks for your expertisee
According to them you only need to dry (10-14 days) and “All unwanted gases and water vapor are diffused through the film…” and that “After closure, our film will bring the internal environment to 58-62% RH…” That said, I’ve personally only used the bags after curing, so can’t attest to their claims.I've seen this mentioned before that they dont need to be burped. Hard to wrap my mind around how that would work, it sounds risky. Maybe somebody will chime in with their experiences, I sure wouldn't miss never having to burp again.According to them you only need to dry (10-14 days) and “All unwanted gases and water vapor are diffused through the film…” and that “After closure, our film will bring the internal environment to 58-62% RH…” That said, I’ve personally only used the bags after curing, so can’t attest to their claims.

Sounds like you can fill a few of those barrels, maybe $20000.00 to $30000.00 worth of flower and
But spending another $300.00 to insure success on the most important part of everything you've done so far, shouldn't be a hard decision imo
Haha we used that trick back in the day. Before we had the steamer my buddy just used a spray bottle and misted the buds if they were over dry.Oh and in case you have a sack that got too dry. Lost its nose. Blast a couple shots of steam in the bag to make it appear fresh and unlock the fragrance for an extra day. We use a commercial suit steamer. Keep the bag from turning to dust. In case it's around awhile.
That steamer was the real VIP. Made packs go up by 50 to 100 per. Hahaha. And it does work. So it's not cheating.Haha we used that trick back in the day. Before we had the steamer my buddy just used a spray bottle and misted the buds if they were over dry.
I'll never forget the first time I saw him do it, we had about 35 pounds on drying racks and he took a 1L spray bottle and emptied it on the buds, gave them a little stir. Then looked at me with a smirk and said that's the easiest $3600 we'll ever make. Added about 2 pounds weight to the weed which was going for about $1800/lb at the time.
Surprisingly never saw mold or anything. Always just made the product a bit less crispy and smell a bit better.
Plastic bags for cure is never a good idea. Was my first mistake many years agoI mean would just buy a box of Husky contractor bags. Fill them up. Use the bags to cure. I mean I would prefer to just bag the stuff after it's dry and trim. Off it goes. But if you want to cure lots cheap. Couple boxes of contractors bags by Husky is like 50 bucks.
There's a better way to bag a 100 pounds and sell it? No. Zip Zags and Husky bags. Always.Plastic bags for cure is never a good idea. Was my first mistake many years ago
You put not fully dried marijuana flower in plastic bags. It will mold. Once its dried and cured , well thats normalThere's a better way to bag a 100 pounds and sell it? No. Zip Zags and Husky bags. Always.
You package your load in anything else and you've created a huge hassle for the other end. They're a standard product. You put not fully dried marijuana flower in plastic bags. It will mold. Once its dried and cured , well thats normal
That's what she said. You package your load in anything else and you've created a huge hassle for the other end.
You have to dry all the buds to perfection 12-15% moisture content, and aquire BPA free, smell free huge plastic boxes, fill 50-75% of them full, put them in a light free room at 21c 60% humidity, blurp and move buds from bottom to top at least once a day and the old curing mumbo jumbo as usual, still some work tho, that blue barrel plastic smell too strong for curing.Hello guys. Yep agreed here, it's BS it doesn't need to blurp in grove bags.I've seen this mentioned before that they dont need to be burped. From what I can tell, while they might be the ultimate in long term storage, they dont magically cure the buds. It seems like a perfect option post cure though.
Something like this, with air tight lids:You have to dry all the buds to perfection 12-15% moisture content, and aquire BPA free, smell free huge plastic boxes, fill 50-75% of them full, put them in a light free room at 21c 60% humidity, blurp and move buds from bottom to top at least once a day and the old curing mumbo jumbo as usual, still some work tho, that blue barrel plastic smell too strong for curing.
