popped!!

At...6 pm last nite the 4 beans were placed in the paper towels...

this morning..at 6am...3 of the 4 have popped!!

12 hrs..12 hours.

thanks swerve and ograskal!

i picked the smallest of all the beans..it seems that the in my 28 years of doing this the smallest beans always produce more females...

Yeah that's what I'm saying looks different. Wonder how productive that is. It looks to be a simple top feed with recirculating but who knows.

well..ive had good luck with airpots...

when i did ebb an grow i saw that the hydroton moved when the wter filled the buckets...caused root grinding..wow..

so..top feed 24hrs..150 pm..ten 250 ppm..350pmm..so on an so on..still got more raskal og beans for coco/perlite..so

ya this is a new home grown way of doing this..1st time..

it will be good..or suck balls..we will all see....

if it works..ask an ill tell all..if not back to another experiment.

also a pic of my cheapie bucket cloner..

5 dollars 5 gal bucket an lid..sprinkler riser 20 cents..180 pump = 9.99 and a full spray head=99.

with tax..under 18 dollars.. i know..i know weres all the holes..i gota a lid with 32 holes too.

If I can say something it would be not to feed 24 hrs because then that dosent give the roots time for oxygen maybe only feed when lights are on. Or maybe feed when lights are on till they get established then run it 24hrs unless ofcourse your running a 24 hr light cycle. I run 24 hr light cycle but I use an nft timer so it runs 4 mins off 1 min on. Works great I think. Just remember the more oxygen to your roots the faster the growth. I have some in pure hydroton and some with coco and perlite and the ones in hydroton are atleast 3 times bigger than the ones in coco.

tried it..

tried 15 min feeds 6 times aday..opps..

started turning yellow from lack of nutes..so bumbed up to 900 ppm..and doing better..but here is a shot of coco/perlite..looking much better than the top feed drip..hope theres a male..cuz i got a whole lott of crosses lined up..november frost pic's..:confused0054:
