Dont bother with using a pitcher or any of that crap as there is a easy formula you can use to calculate any container..you take the total volume ÷ container height .....then you take the container height minus netpot height....then you multiply that by the 1st #...ex...a 5gal bucket with a 10in net pot.....14" tall 5÷14=0.35. 14-7=7. 7x0.35=2.45gal ....so you can do this for any container as long as you have the volume and the height....ea netpot sizes are different so like a 8in net pot will give you like 2.5gal etc....
