Hahaha! this is DEF the smallest clone ever!
It didnt like getting cut, it yellowed up right away...lol then i forgot about it for about a week, when i finaly got back to the place where it was, it was SOOO dry, but sure as shit its got little roots showing.....

12 days is great for a flowering plant to root. in actuality it stands to reason.
with the plant having used up nitrogen to get to this point its easier to root.

this is a prime example of "believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see"
had you listened to naysayers you would be waiting another month or so to get clones from the re-veg.
not saying you got bad advice from anyone but myths stop us from learning

For sure, and if i wouldnt have done it i would have lost it...the other re-veg method did not happen for reasons out of my hands...so this will have to do.

Great job! Now it may take awhile to get good veg growth on her. Ive taken clones a cpl weeks into flower and it took forever for them to snap out of it. You get some funny looking leaves for a bit but when it comes around youll have some bushy bitches.

There is a method known as "Super Cloning" and to make "super clones", you simply take your cuts from a flowering plant. We tried this several years ago and have since always taken clones from a flowering plant. Not sure why exactly, but when you take clones this way, it makes the clone plant branch out with stems and shoots like crazy!

We tested taking the cuts all the way up to week 4 of flower, but about the 2nd or 3rd week of flower seems to work best. I think the further into the flower cycle you take clones, the longer and more of a "re-veg period" there will be.

The down side is it adds some extra time to the process as you have to wait for them to snap out of it. You can tell because they will grow single leaf fan shoots and other deformed growth, and when they stop this and start growing normal looking leaves you know they are back into a vegetative cycle again.

I always like to redirect anyone asking about re-vegging to a post Cap made. It perfectly demonstrates what happens in the Re-vegging process but I will explain it anyways.

When Flowering is initiated The plant generally streches a foot or two, opening up space for buds etc. At that point the same growth hormones that are realeased when topping begin to be released. Small branches for each bud are created and thus the bud is created. This is better demonstrated in some more pure sativa strains, but the process is the same none the less. So the point I'm trying to make. Is that a lot of re-vegged clones will have some crazyyy branching. I've witnessed it, but caps picture blew my mind :p.

Taking clones from a flower plant is something you should only really do if you are preserving genetic lines. Clearly you are. It Can take about a month for a re-vegged clone to root. It can also take the normal amount of time. Something this late into flower will most likely take a pretty long time, be patient, dont pull it out of your cloning tray super often. Just let it kick it.

I just realized you said it was around Day 40. Do you not have visible roots? The plant will do more re-vegging after the clones have taken root. It can take a long time though so dont be disheartened. From your pictures the clone looks pretty healthy.

i think you misread, the clone was cut off the plant that was day 40ish in flower....the clone rooted in 12 days, 5 days longer than normal for me...its doin good, chillin in a 4in pot.

Ya, even if you take them in flower in does not really make them take much longer to show roots if it all. The only noticeable time added is maybe how long it takes them to convert back to normal vegetative growth and even that is acceptable if you look at the gain you get.

Plz keep us posted Sox and let me know if you notice a difference from your normal clones taken in veg. I am betting you will like the difference!

its not the happiest lookin thing in the world but it has pushed the nug apart and started making little branches everywhere...looks wierd as hell, ill post pix tonight.
